- Gombori Pass - Gombori Pass is a mountain pass located in the eastern part of Georgia and is situated at an altitude of 1,990 meters above sea level. As you travel from Tbilisi to Telavi, you will be taken through the scenic Gombori Pass which offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountain range.
During the winter months, the pass is usually covered in snow, which adds to the charm and makes for a stunning view. You will also have the opportunity to stop along the way and take in the views, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and capture some amazing photos.
The pass is home to a variety of wildlife and is a popular destination for bird watchers, with over 150 species of birds being recorded in the area. If you’re lucky, you might even spot some wild animals.

Following this, we’ll stop by a cheese factory where you’ll witness more than 10 different types of cheese being crafted and try some of their most appetizing offerings. Our trip will conclude with a visit to an exclusive winery where we’ll interact with expert winemakers and sample some of the finest Georgian wines, including the renowned Rkatsiteli amber wine.
