Would totally recommend Guide to Addis tour - Our tour was very well organized and our guide, Daniel, was excellent! He was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and provided us with a great first experience visiting the area. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Addis for the first time. We had plenty of time at each stop to see the sights.

Bare Minimum - I booked this excursion while spending a few days in Addis and I was left a little disappointed. The day prior, I wad contacted by management to see if I would like a different excursion than the one I originally booked. Come the day of the excursion, I was picked up half hour early from my hotel by a driver who spoke little to no English. I was taken to the company's office where we met with the business owner, and who I suspect was, the tour guide for the day. There was also another traveler who had booked a separate excursion. Management attempted to have the other traveler change her plans and go on my excruciating. The other traveler was understandably upset, as she had paid for a different one. Ultimately, she was taken on her excursion by the guide and the owner instructed the driver to take me on this one. One thing I enjoy about excursions is getting to hear the history from the guides so the day ended up being an awkward silent drive with my driver who spoke no English. The church was a quick stop. Fortunately, Tiya has their own guide who explains things in English. Lastly, we were too late for Melka and it was closed. I, by no means, blame the driver. Whom despite the circumstance did his best to communicate. For management to give me the short end of the stick and not what I paid for is extremely frustrating. Especially knowing that the prior day before the other company exceeded my expectations.
