Additional Information

The Treblinka & Tykocin Excursion is a recommended choice for individuals keen to deepen their understanding of Jewish history during the Holocaust, and its long endurance in Poland prior to this period. The journey encompasses a visit to the museum situated in the Treblinka Extermination Camp, where we’ll examine a camp model followed by a stopover at the memorial. Subsequently, we’ll be heading to Tykocin, a typical shtetl and remarkable artistic town - a wonderful spot for a leisurely lunch. Tykocin houses one of Poland’s oldest Jewish cemeteries — established in 1522 with matzevas dating back to 1754. A brief pause will be made at the memorial in Lopuchowo Forest, remembering the tragic massacre of Tykocin’s Jewish inhabitants. This is an all-day tour.
