An awesome hike done with Rajadventures - My partner and I went through Rajadventures to do the hike, we loved it!!! Our guide Mervin is a very smiling, kind and caring person. He took the time to explain each step of this incredible hike to us and shared with us his great knowledge of the local fauna and flora. Unlike some guides who “rush” the activity, Mervin gave us plenty of time to enjoy it and offered us fresh fruit during the swimming break. A top guide, I recommend 200%! On our return, Shoba, the mother, welcomed us into her home and served us Mauritian specialties, a real treat and a great sense of hospitality. In short, if you are looking for a quality guide, I recommend Mervin and Shoba (their contact: +23059155178), you really will not be disappointed…😉

a very nice trip and a great experience - 05/15/2024 Weather: rainy (at the beginning and at the end) our experience: beginners Guides: Yudish and Gilles Start: 9:30 a.m. End: 12:30 p.m. Before the hiking tour started (we would rather call it climbing 😁), it was raining. So Yudish asked us whether we wanted to cancel the tour or not. "Since it is very slippery, we will take as much time as necessary and hike carefully," said Yudish. So we said yes to the tour. We immediately liked both guides. Yudish and Gilles showed us how to climb down or up the slopes or mountains and where we can hold on. As additional information, they showed us pepper and other native plants and what they are used for. There was enough time planned to go swimming (we had 2 swimming stops). We always felt safe. Especially when we saw how easily and simply the guides "walked" down and up the slopes. Despite the rainy start to the tour and the guaranteed sore muscles, we really enjoyed the trip and would recommend it. ------------------------------------- Weather: rainy (at the beginning and at the end) our experience: beginner Guides: Yudish and Gilles Start: 9:30 am End: 12:30 pm Before the hiking tour started (we would rather call it climbing😁), it was raining. Favourite day of our holiday - We had a fantastic full day tour from Jeremie. The views of the waterfall were incredible and there were experiences along the way such as dipping our feet in a pool of Red Garra and swimming in the waterfall pools. Jeremie was a great guide, very knowledgeable, passionate about nature and helped us when the path got more tricky. He took some great photos for us too, some of which are attached. Thoroughly recommend, I would say you need to be relatively fit for the full day tour but it’s worth it to see all 7 waterfalls.

Tamarind Falls - Enjoyed the hike with Yanature guide Yudish who was wonderful. The hike has very steep and inclined climbs at few places but worth it and recommend it with guide.

An adventurous hike in the heart of Mauritius - We have always wanted to do this hike but was advised by friends and family that it would be difficult without a guide and we are glad we went with Yanature. This is our second time joining their tour, first time being our trip to Le Morne. We drove to our meeting point to meet our guide and then drove together as a convoy to our hiking starting point. The hike involves steep inclines requiring you to use your arms to keep yourself steady whilst holding onto tree branches, at times needing to go on all fours to climb as well. We had light showers during our trip so the path was very muddy and wet. We would recommend wearing sport shoes with good grip (and not white shoes) as well as swimwear underneath your sport clothes as there is a chance to get into the waterfall for a refreshing swim. All in all it was a 3 hour hike that requires relatively good physical fitness and we were aching all over by the end of it but it was definitely well worth the time. Our tour guide was friendly and made sure we were safe throughout which we appreciated.

A big thank you to Béatrice and Gilles - A hike that is more of a trail than a hike. Be careful, it’s very physical. We cling to branches, roots and rocks for the journey. It slips . It's very dangerous . Not to be undertaken alone!! We had two extremely caring and professional guides who took the time to show us where to position each foot in the complicated passages and who introduced us to the flora. I recommend two enthusiasts of this site: Béatrice and Gilles. Thanks to them both.

Wonderful Hike to „sept cascades“ (Tamarind falls) - Our hike to the Tamarind Falls was an unforgettable experience. We were able to admire 5 of the 7 waterfalls, each offering wonderful views and fascinating nature. Anyone who wanted could swim in one of the waterfalls – a refreshing break in the midst of nature. The route was exciting and varied, ideal for nature lovers. The descent and ascent were quite steep, requiring us to hold onto branches for stability, but it was fun and a beautiful experience. We would especially like to mention our guide Yudish, who led the tour excellently and helped us through the tricky parts.

Incredible hike in the 7 cascades - We decided to do this hike on a whim and it was an incredible discovery! Our guide Yudish was great, sociable and funny! Yudish showed us another side of Mauritius, and it was extraordinary! I recommend this hike to everyone, as well as the guide!
