Pico - To refresh our feet, we take you to one of our favorite natural swimming pools, in an amazing setting, where you can get on the water or just lay down for a bit, exchanging more local stories and preparing your taste buds for the next stop.
We will choose our pool considering the sea conditions, since some are more protected than others.
- Pico - Finally, with all the context we need, we will start our wine tasting in a beautiful setting with an emergent and promising independent local producer, who is taking her family vines to a new level.

Experience the complexities of a distinct volcanic, mineral, and salty wine, unlike any other across the globe, whilst delving into the local customs, populace, and… natural surroundings!
We meet in Madalena, embarking on a brief amble through the coastal vineyards nestled at the base of Pico Mountain, within the UNESCO World Heritage site of Pico Wine’s unique landscape since 2004.
This outstanding wine is derived from vines that take root in the volcanic soil and thrive on the rocky terrain. All labor is conducted by hand, a practice that hasn’t deviated in the last five centuries since the initial settlers introduced viticulture to Pico.
As a treat, we’ll guide you to one of our preferred natural swimming locations, set in a breathtaking environment, or you can choose to unwind, whilst we share local tales and whet your appetite for what’s up next.
Our last stop is a wine tasting session in a picturesque location, led by an up-and-coming local female winemaker who has been recognized with awards.
