Highlights
  • Wadi Rum Village - Wadi Rum Village - We will meet at the Rest House in Wadi Rum Village between 09:30 – 10:00. This is the first place you will see on your right, when you enter the village. There is a supermarket and a souvenir shop and our office is just around the corner. When all tourists are present and welcomed by the guide, we start the tour (around 10:00)
  • Wadi Rum Protected Area - Jebel Al Hash - Hiking and scrambling the Al Hash mountain together with your experienced Bedouin guide, who can tell you many stories about the area, the Bedouin life and the various plants and flowers you will see along the way. The duration depends on your pace, but usually takes about 2 to 3 hours. At the top we take our time to relax, take pictures, enjoy the view and drink some fresh Bedouin tea.
  • Wadi Rum Protected Area - Traditional Bedouin Lunch - After the hike your guide prepares a delicious traditional lunch, cooked outside on the fire. The lunch we make is different every day, but we like to cook you a warm meal with vegetables, bread, hummus, yoghurt, and other local treats. While we are cooking, you can explore the area with a hike, or just sit down and relax while you enjoy Wadi Rum’s panoramic landscape.
  • Wadi Rum Protected Area - Also called the “the eye” because of the shape. A beautiful place to make pictures.
  • Wadi Rum Protected Area - Bedouin Dam - Here you will see how Bedouins construct dams to collect and save water to use during the dry season.
  • Wadi Rum Protected Area - Chicken Rock - Do you see a cow or a chicken? Decide for yourself when taking some fun pictures at this sight.
  • Wadi Rum Protected Area - Bedouin Cave - Driving though the more remote areas you will see caves, hidden in the mountain. These were uild many years ago when there were no houses and not even a village. Take a peak insice and discover how our ancestors used to live centuries ago.
  • Wadi Rum Protected Area - Madallah Nohra - This is our favorite place in Wadi Rum and definitely a hidden gem. You will rarely see tourists here. When you are there, you know why they call it “the view” and why this is our favorite place. The view is truly stunning and the place has such a calm and zen vibe
  • Wadi Rum Protected Area - Sand Dunes - You will see the desert in a different perspective when you climb up here. Another fun way to discover the landscape and see more amazing views
  • Wadi Rum Protected Area - Jeep Tour - The time we have left before sunset, we spend sightseeing, visiting the highlights of Wadi Rum

Additional Information

For those who appreciate the undiscovered, this tour is perfect for you! The main event is the trek to Al Hash (1700 m), while we’ll also introduce you to more of Wadi Rum’s deep culture and history, such as ancient Bedouin caves and a Bedouin dam.

Setting off on an awe-inspiring drive, we leave behind the red sands and venture into the white desert towards the secluded Wadi Sabet, a valley near the Saudi Arabia border. This marks the start of our thrilling trek. Initial scrambling is followed by an extensive hike amid towering mountains; the plant life and fossils encountered along the way will leave you awe-struck. Upon reaching the top, you’ll be treated to remarkable panoramic views. The tranquility of the Wadi Sabet valley seen from above is simply unmatched.

At the top of the mountain, we enjoy some Bedouin tea, and at the bottom, we savor a mouth-watering traditional lunch. Our day concludes at Um Sabatah, the prime location for an enchanting sunset.

Unique - We spent three days and three nights in Wadi Rum with Bakhir. It was wonderful, special and unique and we can only recommend him, his camp and his guides. I wouldn't want to miss a second of this time. The jeep tour, the hike to al Hash, the camel ride and of course the wonderful finale, the last night in the cave. Everything was perfect and a unique experience!

Amazing experience - Everyone was amazing and so nice. This group of people gave us an amazing adventure that was once in a lifetime. We saw roaming camels and beautiful landscape. As well as had amazing food. 11/10. If you are questioning whether or not you should do it. I would highly recommend. It is a full day of fun, hiking (it is pretty intense at times but you can take your time or wait at the bottom) I would do it again.
