- Wieliczka Salt Mine - Our driver will pick you up from the arranged place (eg. hotel / apartment). You will then be transferred to the place of your destination. He will then wait until you have finished sightseeing and drive you back to your place of stay in Krakow.
Wieliczka Salt Mine is located just 15 km (+-10 miles) from the city center of Kraków and is certainly one of the most often visited places in Poland. This is the oldest and the only salt mine in the world, which is operating with no interruption since the Middle Ages.To distinguish this wonderful place UNESCO added Wieliczka to its First World List of Cultural and Natural Heritage in 1978 together with only 11 different places on Earth.
Here you can find lots of underground caves, chambers and even a lakes. The total length of the mine is about 300km (186 miles) on 9 level, of which deepest reaches 327m (357 yards). You can see here how through the centuries people have perfected the art of mining.

- We, as a Auschwitz-Krakow Tours, are not responsible for any refusal to enter the Salt Mine Wieliczka later than the time indicated on the ticket due to customers arriving late for the previously agreed pick-up time, which will result in missing the guided tour.

Amazing trip - I recommend everyone this trip. The salt mine is amazing. If you in Kraków you have to visit it. It’s a short trip compared to Auschwitz only takes 3,5 hours so you have a lot of time afterwards.

Salt mines - Arranged down to the last detail! During the autumn holidays, I booked a 5-day trip to Krakow via Simonsetours.nl together with my daughters, aged 14 and 16 at the time. (Recommended!) Barbara from the travel agency booked the trip and excursions for us and in Poland the contact with Wictoria was via WhatsApp, she kept us constantly informed of where and at what time we were expected for our excursions.
We received excellent guidance from start to finish and were able to enjoy our trip without any worries.
A visit to the salt mines is highly recommended! It is a very special and beautiful location.
We had an English-speaking guide and she told in perfect English the history of the mine and the miners who had made the beautiful statues and works of art from salt during their stay hundreds of meters underground.
The underground chapel in particular was breathtaking.
The salt works of art, the underground lake, very special! Tip: wear a thick coat because it is very chilly deep underground.

Wieliczka Salt Mine - This was my 3rd visit to since 2022 and my 2nd time using this company. They are absolutely amazing. We had absolutely no issues and will absolutely use this company again.

Wielicskq salt mines - Auschwitz -Krakowtours.com sourced our tickets and arranged all the transport , supplying lovely clean vehicles with really nice drivers . Our guide was all arranged as well and we ended up having a wonderful tour of the salt mines , it really is worth the walking to see the vast size of this place and the history within . On exiting our driver was there and whisked is back to Krakow to our hotel while pointing out the various landmarks along the way , all in all a really great trip and a big thank you to Victoria for arranging everything .

Wieliczka Salt Mine in Krakow.. a must see - A must see attraction in Krakow. Our driver, Adam, from Discover Cracow helped us add this to our itinerary. In addition, he took us to the Jewish quarter and after we walked onto the incredible Main Square, he picked us up when we were ready.

Wieliczka Salt Mine - The Krakow salt mines in Wieliczka are impressive: immense galleries as far as the eye can see, scenery entirely sculpted in salt, a veritable underground life is organized just a few metres below our feet!
