The trip includes a wine tasting event showcasing wines from the Franconian wine area (sparkling, white, red) during the tour.
In Rothenburg, the gem of the Romantic Road, you can independently explore: the historic market plaza with its Town Hall, the Gothic St. Jakob Parish Church, Klingentor, Plönlein, Spital and the Spital bastion, the medieval Crime and Torture Exhibit, and German Christmas Exhibit situated in Käthe Wohlfarth’s Christmas Village. Savour the local Franconian cuisine along with wine and beer, and don’t miss out on the ‘Snowballs’ a traditional Franconian dessert.
The wines are served in compact bottles (0,25 l), which can even be taken home; all wines served are semi-dry and dry.
