Highlights
  • Church of St. John The Baptist - This impressive church boasts the third largest unsupported dome in the world. Against a small donation to the church guests can gain access to the roof of the rotunda through a lift and enjoy stunning 360 degrees view of Gozo.
  • Sanap Cliffs - Not accessible by public transport or hop-on/hop-off tours, Sannap Cliffs is one of the highest points on Gozo. These breathtaking cliffs are a hidden gem, with views of Malta and Comino in the distance.
  • Xlendi Beach, Cliff and Caves - Xlendi is a very popular destination on Gozo, with beautiful blue water, cliffs and Xlendi Tower. We stop at the Belvedere overlooking the Xlendi tower and bay.
  • Ta’ Pinu National Shrine - Ta Pinu is a wonderful example of Gozo culture, this spectacular Basilica sits by itself in the countryside, with extensive murals and mosaics both inside and out.
  • The Citadel - You can’t go far in Gozo without seeing The Citadel, perched on top of the rocks right in the centre of Gozo. From on top of the walls, almost all of Gozo can be seen, whilst the citadel hides secrets underneath, including WW2 shelters and grain silos.
  • Xwejni Salt Pans - The 350-year-old salt pans found at Xwejni Bay stretch about three kilometres along this coast and are more than just the perfect spot to get a scenic snap for your Instagram! This site is one of the more popular ones on the island but, you can also take a look at others located at Marsalforn, Qala, Dwejra and Xlendi.
  • Marsalforn Bay - Marsalforn is home to the Salt Pans, which are, as the name suggests, pans cut out of the rock where Gozitans still make salt to this day. The pans stretch for many kilometres.Guests can enjoy a traditional light lunch at a nearby restaurant
  • Qala - Belvedere
  • Blue Lagoon - Weather permitting on the return boat voyage from Gozo to Malta Yippee Island Hopper boat sails around the picture-perfect Blue Lagoon and Comino’s captivating caves.
  • Wied il-Ghasri - Since the valley follows a winding path that leads to the open sea, you can enjoy a dip in the Mediterranean at the end of the valley where a small and secluded pebbly bay lies.

Although it seems inaccessible, a series of steps have been cut into one side of the cliff face, taking you to the tiny pebbly beach. On your way down the stairs, you’ll get a full view of the natural beauty that surrounds you so make sure you keep a camera handy.

Excellent day, highly recommend! - We had the best day on this trip, fantastic speed boat ride across then into the Tuk Tuk for the tour around Gozo. We had Joe Cutajar as our guide and he really was amazing and made the day excellent. Very knowledgeable, sense of humour, very helpful and is most certainly a credit to your company. Food at 2pm was OK, not really my thing and would have been helpful to know what the pasta dish was called and what was in it. Bus transfer from hotel to ferry port wasn’t great, very old red bus with no air conditioning (apart from door left open!). Overall, was a great day out with good company and an excellent tour guide and would definitely recommend to others. Thanks Yippee and specifically Joe. Take it easy Joe!

Kind and considerate - Have just come back from a trip to Gozo and I have to say that this is a first class run business. We were picked up in a mini bus and taken to the ferry crossing. Someone there told us which tuc tuc was ours and who the driver was. His name was Stefan and what a credit he is to your company. He was so knowledgeable about all sorts of different aspects of Gozo from ancient times to modern times, but what stood out with him was his kindness. I and my sister are getting on a bit and aren't so nimble. He took great care to make sure we could get in and out of the tuc tuc and at the end of the tour he stayed with us until we got on the boat, even making sure we were helped onto the boat. He really made our trip. So please give him a big, big thank you from both of us.

Fabulous Tuk Tuk tour of Gozo - Our Tuk Tuk tour of Gozo with Yippee was fabulous. Our driver, Joe, was fantastic, providing lots of useful information and taking us to lots of different places on the island. The roads on Gozo are fairly good too and we were able to see a lot in one day. Highly recommended.

Gozo Tuk-Tuk - Gozo is pretty but the trip seemed hodgepodge. There were 6 per Tuk-Tuk so my wife and I were seated separately and the seats didn’t fit 3 across comfortably
