This tour offers travelers a chance to visit Taiwan’s most sought after destinations by car from Taipei in a single day.
- A minimum of 6 passengers is required to operate. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements.
- The exact pick-up time and tour guide’s contact number will advised two days before tour departure
- We will do our best to accommodate individual travelers by placing them on tours with other guests. In the event an individual traveler cannot be so accommodated, guests will be offered an alternative tour of equal value or full refund.
- There will be a 100% charge for no-shows that is defined as arriving 15 minutes late.
- In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, MyTaiwanTour reserves the right to alter tour itinerary.

Incredible tour and guide! Highly recommended - Sun Moon Lake is a stunning place to visit and the tour guide was so personal and friendly. We were able to request to ride the gondolas to get a great view of the lake from above.

A HONEYMOONERS PARADISE! - My wife and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at Sun Moon Lake. We could not have chosen a better place!
The views are out of this world! The lake and the surrounding tree filled mountains are absolutely magnificent.
After a leisurely walk, we took a boat ride on the lake and, then, a cable car ride up the mountain.
All in all, a memorable experience. One regret.. we didn't stay longer!

Zayid - I'm just want to say thanks to Mr. Jett, I really really enjoyed in this tour. He very very helpful and respectful guy, he know a huge historical about this lake and coverd all area show to take my pictures then go to shopping after finish this tour.

Fabulous tour of Sun Moon Lake - My son and I loved our one day tour of the lake. Our guide, Epson made our day fun we covered a great deal of area effortlessly. His knowledge of Taiwan and its history is extensive and his English is excellent. We managed to get a bicycle ride into our busy day too. That was probably the highlight of my tour that day. The high speed rail is a great way to see the countryside too. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see this beautiful lake.

Beautiful experience and worth the... - <p>Beautiful experience and worth the trip in spite of the 3/12 hours travel fromTaipei, seeing the place with blooming cherry blossoms, riding in the boat, comfortable vehicle and simple but delicious lunch with Gordon our driver-guide who speaks English.</p>

The ride to the lake was longer than... - <p>The ride to the lake was longer than I expected about 3 hr drive and we had a personal tour guide with just our party of 3. That was unexpected but it was nice and personable. The tour guide spoke English and was good to us, keeping us in line with our schedule and ensuring we get the most of our trip. The boat tour to the island was quite crowd and not everyone had seats. The tea eggs were good, and so was the ice creams that melted very quickly. The view was breathtaking and surreal. We did not enjoy it as much until we are back home looking at the beautiful pictures.</p>

A nice break during a hot summer... - <p>A nice break during a hot summer, the lake area was cool and breezy, the hike around the lake is easy to do and not strenuous. The drive from Taipei is long, so although I recommend the tour, I would have enjoyed spending another day at the lake in order to see and do a bit more, such as a bicycle ride.</p>

Sun Moon Lake is around two to three... - <p>Sun Moon Lake is around two to three hours away from Taipei by car. Probably faster taking the train.</p>
<p>The lake is big and calm with hiking and biking trials around it. Great for taking it easy and if you're not on a tight schedule. Some interesting shops and food items in town. There's also a huge temple that overlooks the lake. Try to catch sundown at the top of the temple.</p>
<p>There's also a nearby museum with distinctive modern architecture that also looks out into the lake.</p>

Appauling - NOTE: STAY CLEAR!
This company gives different prices for each individual based on how many people book! I paid the price for 2 PEOPLE and 6 people ended up being on my tour who all paid almost $100 US less than me each! What kind of tour company would let that happen..?? What the company should have done is given me a separate tour guide for my partner and I OR refunded us back the money to 6 people being on the tour. But being a pathetic and unfair tour company that only cares for profit neither happened. After several complaints from me - they refused to partially refund the tour at all.
Lastly, this tour had a total of 9 hours travel time and 3 on TOUR LOCATION! I mean OMG check traffic conditions and change things accordingly. Everything was poor about MTT!
