Night Travel Shifen & Jiufen - Good idea to go during the afternoon as you miss the morning crowd. Still a busy place though.
My girlfriend liked the waterfall particularly.
By travelling in the evening, you get to enjoy mesmerizing nightview at Jiufen.
Ended the tour at Rouhe nightmarket which is convenient for us getting street food for dinner before going home.

A different Jiufen - Taiwan is probably the best place to go on a solo trip, people are so nice to travellers.
Jiufen at night got a different vibe from the time during day. Hence if you've been there in day, try going at night as well.

perfect one day trip for solo traveler - it was a perfect one day trip for solo traveler.
Especially, the night view in Jiufen was incredible with the dreamy red lantern.
i highly recommend to whom like to enjoy the night view and local foods.

Fantastic and busy tour! - Pros: You get to see so many different things on this trip. The geopark, the waterfall, sky lanterns, Jiufen old street. It's a great and diverse tour to take. You can experience lots of northern Taiwan! Our guide Joseph was very organised and gave us lots of information.
Cons: There is a lot packed into this trip and you need to keep track of time well.

More of a Bus Ride than a Tour - The four places we visited were all great, and I recommend them. However, the tour guide provided little to no explanation about anything we saw and didn't accompany us on the sightseeing. We were pretty much left on our own. So essentially we paid for a bus ride to the sites. I would have preferred to pay more for some commentary/ information about what we were seeing.

Don't book this tour for weekend dates!! - DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR FOR A WEEKEND DATE!!!! The reason is that Juifen implements traffic control then and therefore busses are not allowed in town. You are forced to transfer to a city bus which takes over an hour. You lose precious time in Jiufen. Otherwise the tour is worth it.

No refund - Unable to get refund when we did not join the excursion. The guide said he looked for us but that was a lie! Wasted one day waiting and wasted my money on this. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.
