Great say trip - Helpful and informative staff, enjoyable trip. Long day but worth it. Shame couldn't swim at Maya Bay, but can understand the conservation concerns.

Sea star boat trip - Pick up on time taken to drop off and service was quick and efficient with a smile and quickly sorted into boat. Plenty of free juice tea and coffee prior to departure. Given briefing before going on boats asked about dietary and any allergies to tourists. Boat goes very quick so it can get a little bit bouncy. Stop offs were easy and staff very helpful as I have knee problems and sometimes hard to get on and off. Food at phi phi restaurant was plentiful and very tasty beach beautiful too best stop mây bay sand is unbelievable so so soft and we saw 2 baby sharks swimming along just off beach so all in all a great day out 😁

Great trip! - Maya Bay was spectacular. Snorkelling was great fun. Tour guides on trip were really friendly and helpful. It would be useful to explain likely travel times on bus before and after boat as these made the day very long ( 3 hours for us from arranged pick up time at hotel to boat leaving harbour).

Overall good - The trip was amazing and crew were very funny and looked after us. The only think I have to say is that for the amount of time we spent on the boat to go snorkeling was longer than I had expected. We also came from Khao Lak and the car ride itself took almost 3 hours which we were not expecting as it's not really explained anywhere. Overall the its worth seeing the sites

Crew were great nice boat very friendly. - It is very organised and a nice boat trip. Unfortunately they're were no Piers to disembark onto at any of the stops which meant I was unable to get off the boat due to my knees and the dangerous drop into the sea. The steps were not wide enough and there were no bars so I had alot of difficulty getting back onto the boat when we stopped to snorkel. I can enter deep water easily enough but it was very difficult getting back on board and three men had to help. That was a real shame as I would have loved to have done more snorkeling at the second stop where there were actually fish.

Mixed recommendation - We drove a long way to Phuket then Koh Phi Phi because we left from Khao Lak. This is the second excursion we have taken with the Seastar company. The company is very good, the staff is also pleasant. Food and drinks as desired. We were disappointed with the place. There were too many people, we didn't enjoy the pretty landscapes of this island at all... Lots of queues, boats, noise, waiting. An excursion to access instagramable photos and selfies… The downtime is also too short (40 minutes to eat, 10 minutes on monkey island, etc.) If you are looking for a quiet and pleasant excursion, I do not recommend Koh Phi Phi.

Worst Tour I have Ever Been On - What was sent to me as communication, was not what the tour delivered. A three-hour drive to the pier was the first frustration; this would have been easily avoided if they had been honest - I would not have signed up for this tour. Out of the day, six hours were sitting in a shuttle. All I wanted to do was snorkel, but when we got to Bamboo Island we were not allowed to snorkel because "the water was too low". We were told to walk to the other end of the beach and could snorkel there. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to snorkel there at all. There were people on duty with their whistles who called you out of the water if you tried! All day long they tried to upsell us. Scuba Diving...pay more. Emerald Lagoon, which was in the itinerary as already being paid, you had to pay extra to get a longboat to drop you there. Getting out of the boat was horrific...three people fell off including a child; people from our tour swam over and grabbed the child. People weren't told about the low depth of the water, so there were multiple injuries during the day from jumping off the boat. The tour operators said it was fine to jump off. Paddle boarding was on the itinerary...nothing. No paddleboarding and we had particularly chosen this tour to do this. Snorkelling...ridiculously short. If this is the second review, that parallels the same issues, think seriously about doing this tour. The frustration of the group became apparent: the reason I had taken the tour was to have a decent shot at snorkelling. If this company believes that this is not their modus operandi, then they should refund me for not delivering what I paid for. The best was the end when people were leaving the shuttle. "Hallelujah" was vocalised and a collective sigh of agreement was forthcoming.

Run fast away from this tour. - First off the tour explanation was completely inaccurate. We did not leave from Royal Phuket Marina. We drove an hour more past that pier to the area where the boat left. We left Khao Lak at 6:10 and arrived at the boat 3 hours later. It was awful. The traffic is horrendous. Then we had to drive back which was another 3 hours. None of this was mentioned in the tour details. Then the tour did not follow the itinerary and stay at short time at snorkeling but stayed a very long time an a very small and very congested and excessively load little cove so that some guests could ride a long tail boat to get a selfie. I think they should have called this an instagram tour. Everyone wanted to get selfies. The itinerary not being had nothing to do with the fluctuation of the tides. The area was so crowded that it was the most unpeaceful trip I have ever experienced. This tour is nothing was not as it was described. I am very disappointed and sad that I choose this tour.
