Airport to Sigriya
Colombo - Day 1: Colombo – Sigiriya
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, a tour representative will greet you with a flower garland. You will then proceed to Habarana. After checking in at the hotel, you can relax and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Sigriya to Polonaruwa and Minneriya National Park
Sigiriya - The next morning, after breakfast, you will visit the archaeological city of Polonnaruwa. Following this, you can enjoy a nice lunch and then drive to a national park to see many wild elephants. Afterward, you will return to the hotel in Sigiriya for the night.
Stop At: Polonnaruwa Ancient City
Polonnaruwa is the second most ancient of Sri Lanka’s kingdoms. The ancient city of Polonnaruwa is one of the best-planned archaeological relic cities in the country, showcasing the discipline and greatness of the Kingdom’s first rulers. It has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO.
Stop At: Minneriya National Park
Minneriya National Park is located in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka. The park was established to protect the catchment of the Minneriya tank and the surrounding wildlife. During the dry season, large numbers of Sri Lankan elephants are attracted to the grass fields on the edges of the reservoir, with gatherings sometimes numbering around 150-200, and occasionally up to 700.

Sigriya to Kandy
Dambulla - After breakfast, you will visit the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Upon request, a village tour can be arranged. You will then drive to Kandy, stopping along the way to visit a spice garden and a Hindu temple. Upon arrival, you will check in to a hotel in Kandy.
Stop At: Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress
Sigiriya is a UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved ancient urban planning. The site is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters (660 ft) high.
Duration: 3 hours
The Village Tour offers a chance to experience traditional Sri Lankan life. Spend time with villagers, engage in daily activities such as an oxen cart ride, a catamaran ride, and a walk through the fields, and learn to cook traditional Sri Lankan food.
Stop At: Hindu Temple Matale
Sri Muthumariamman Temple is dedicated to Mariamman, the goddess of rain and fertility. One of the temple’s most visually striking features is its 55 m (180 ft) high Gopuram (‘Raja Koburum’), a large decorated tower above the main northern gateway (‘Vadakku Veli Veedi’).
In the Spice Garden, you will be introduced to various spices and shown how they are grown and processed. You will also have the opportunity to purchase spices.

Kandy city tour
Kandy - Kandy is a major city in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. It was the last capital of the ancient kings’ era of Sri Lanka. The city is situated amidst hills in the Kandy plateau, which is known for its tropical plantations, mainly tea. Kandy is both an administrative and religious city and serves as the capital of the Central Province. It is home to The Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world, and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1988.
You will visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, also known as Sri Dalada Maligawa, which houses the relic of Lord Buddha’s tooth. You will also visit Kandy View Point, walk around Kandy Lake, and enjoy a shopping excursion at Kandy City Center.
Kandy to Ella
Ella - After breakfast, you will proceed to Ella via Nuwara Eliya. From Nuwara Eliya (Nanu Oya) to Ella, you will take a scenic train ride, while your driver will meet you in Ella.
Scenic Train Ride: The views on both sides of the rail are breathtaking. The train winds through mountains overlooking farms, villages, and vast tea plantations. The scenery changes throughout the trip, from lush green views to woodland forests.
Ella to Yalla
Tissamaharama - After breakfast, you will visit Little Adam’s Peak and the Nine Arch Bridge. You will then depart for Tissamaharama, stopping to visit the Ravana waterfalls along the way. After checking in at the hotel in Tissamaharama, you will leave for a jeep safari in Yala National Park in the mid-afternoon. You will spend the night at the hotel in Tissamaharama.
Stop At: Ravana Ella Falls
The Ravana Falls is a popular sightseeing attraction in Sri Lanka and is one of the widest falls in the country.

Stop At: Yala National Park
Yala National Park is the most visited and second-largest national park in Sri Lanka. The park combines a strict nature reserve with a national park and is divided into five blocks. It has a protected area of nearly 130,000 hectares, consisting of light forests, scrubs, grasslands, tanks, and lagoons. Two blocks are currently open to the public. The park is known for its variety of wild animals and is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, Sri Lankan leopards, and aquatic birds.

Mirissa
Mirissa - After breakfast, you will transfer to Mirissa.
Stop At: Galle Dutch Fort
Galle is the capital city of the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. It reached its peak development in the 18th century during the Dutch colonial period. Galle is the best example of a fortified city built by the Portuguese in South and Southeast Asia, showcasing the interaction between Portuguese architectural styles and native traditions. The city was extensively fortified by the Dutch from 1649 onwards. The Old Town of Galle and its Fortifications is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European occupiers.
Upon reaching Mirissa, you will check in to a hotel and spend the night.
Mirissa to Airport
Colombo - * Stop At: Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake 11450, Sri Lanka There is no itinerary planned for the day. After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for Bandaranaike International Airport in time to catch your flight (at least 2-3 hours before departure), concluding the tour.
