Agrasen Ki Baoli - Leamigo - Agrasen ki Baoli, a 60-meter long and 15-meter wide historical stepwell, is a protected monument under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act of 1958.
Humayun’s Tomb - Humayun’s Tomb is the resting place of Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi. Commissioned by his chief consort, Empress Bega Begum, in 1558, it is a significant historical site.
Chandni Chowk - Located in Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk is a bustling shopping area with markets selling spices, dried fruit, silver jewelry, and vivid saris. The narrow side streets are filled with tiny shops offering essential oils, stationery, and traditional Indian sweets. Nearby is the vast Mughal-era Red Fort.
Delhi - Agra (243 Kms. / 03.30 Hrs.) :-
Agra - After a delicious breakfast, we will drive to Agra, a journey of about 222 km taking around 4 hours. Upon arrival, we will check into our hotel and refresh before exploring the city.
Taj Mahal - The Taj Mahal is an awe-inspiring ivory-white marble mausoleum on the southern bank of the Yamuna river. Built in 1632 by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, it stands as a timeless symbol of love. The 17-hectare complex includes a mosque, guest house, and formal gardens enclosed by a crenellated wall. Note: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays for general viewing.
Agra Fort - Also known as the Red Fort of Agra, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is renowned for its rich history, magnificent architecture, and connections to Mughal emperors like Akbar, Shah Jahan, and Aurangzeb.
Itmad-ud-Daula - The Tomb of I’timād-ud-Daulah in Agra is a stunning Mughal mausoleum often referred to as a “jewel box” or “Baby Taj.” Its intricate design and craftsmanship make it a precursor to the iconic Taj Mahal.
Mehtab Bagh - Mehtab Bagh, or Moonlight Garden, offers a romantic view of the Taj Mahal at sunset. Built by Emperor Babur, it is the last of a series of 11 gardens along the Yamuna River’s east bank. The gardens of the Taj Mahal are perfectly aligned with Mehtab Bagh, making it an ideal spot to admire the monument.
Agra Sightseeing- Ranthambore (304 Kms. / 05.30 Hrs.) :-
Taj Mahal - Watch the sunrise over the Taj Mahal and take a guided tour inside, learning about its history as a tomb built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 for his wife. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. The Yamuna river and green gardens enhance its beauty. Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind - Hawa Mahal, or the Palace of Winds, is made of red and pink sandstone, making it stand out. The five-story pyramidal monument was built by Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. After visiting Hawa Mahal, return to your hotel.
