• Mount Chortiatis - The hiking adventure begins at Chortiatis village. Participants will follow the Icemakers Path, the most renowned trail on Chortiatis Mountain. This path is named after the villagers of old, who would ascend the mountain on frigid winter nights to create ice, which they then sold to the affluent families of Thessaloniki.

Upon reaching Chortiatis Refuge, which is open only on weekends, hikers can unwind in the outdoor area, enjoying the refreshing shade of the trees and the melodious birdsong while savoring a cup of coffee and a delicious snack.

The journey continues to Kolosourtis Peak, offering breathtaking views of Thessaloniki, Thermaikos Bay, and, on clear days, Mount Olympus. The hike concludes with a return to Chortiatis village.

The trail spans approximately 10 km with an elevation gain of 500 meters.
