Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Next, you’ll visit the ancient city of Sakkara, where you’ll have the chance to explore the remarkable Step Pyramid of King Djoser. This iconic structure holds a fascinating story: King Djoser commissioned his chief architect, Imhotep, to design something unique for his burial. Imhotep exceeded expectations by creating the Step Pyramid, a groundbreaking achievement at the time, which greatly impressed the king.

Memphis and Sakkara - Finally, we will head to Memphis, where you’ll explore the Open Air Museum, home to the stunning monuments of King Ramses II. After completing your day tour, you’ll return to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Cairo Citadel - “Next, head to the historic Old Cairo area and explore the Citadel of Salah El-Din. This iconic fortress played a crucial role in Egypt’s defense and served as the seat of power for over 700 years.

Khan Al-Khalili - We will then take you to Khan El Khalili, one of the most remarkable bazaars in the Middle East. Afterward, you’ll return to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Aswan High Dam - Upon arrival at Aswan airport, you’ll be greeted by your Egyptologist tour guide to begin exploring the remarkable city of Aswan. Your tour will include a visit to the iconic High Dam, constructed under President Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 to safeguard Egypt from the annual Nile floods.

Temple of Philae - Next, you will sail along the Nile River by motorboat to Agilika Island, where you will visit the Temple of Philae. Built during the Greco-Roman period, this temple was dedicated to the goddess Isis, the mother of Horus.

Unfinished Obelisk - Next, you will be guided to explore one of Aswan’s remarkable attractions, the Unfinished Obelisk, crafted from red granite and dedicated to the god Amun Ra. After concluding your day tour, you will be transferred to your Nile cruise for check-in and an overnight stay.

Kom Ombo Temple - Edfu Temples - Nile Cruise

Temple of Kom Ombo - Breakfast will be served on board your ship. Afterward, you’ll meet your Egyptologist guide for a visit to the stunning Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. Temple of Horus - In the afternoon, embark on a chariot ride to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, renowned for being one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. After your tour, you’ll be transferred back to your ship, where you can unwind and relax on board. Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Next, you’ll visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. This remarkable temple is one of the finest examples of ancient Egyptian architecture, as it is entirely carved into the mountain itself.

Colossi of Memnon - At the conclusion of the tour, you will visit the Colossi of Memnon, monuments dedicated to King Amenhotep III. Following your visit, you will return to your ship for lunch. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure, and you’ll have dinner and spend the night on the cruise.

Disembarkation - Luxor East Bank - Karnak Temple

Temple of Karnak - Check out after breakfast at 8:00 AM. Following that, you’ll embark on a captivating tour of Luxor’s East Bank. Begin with the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, the largest temple complex in the world, covering an impressive area of one hundred acres. Next, visit the Temple of Luxor, originally built by a king of the 12th dynasty and later completed by the renowned Ramses II.

Luxor International Airport - After your tour, you will be transferred by private air-conditioned van to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Alexandria City Tour - Back to Cairo

Begin your exploration at the renowned Alexandria Library, one of the ancient world’s most significant centers of knowledge, located on the historic site of the old Pharaoh.

Ancient Roman Theater, Alexandria - Next, you’ll be taken to enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. After your meal, you’ll continue your journey with a visit to the Roman Amphitheatre, one of the most iconic monuments from the Greco-Roman period.

Pompey’s Pillar - Complete your Alexandria city tour with a visit to Pompey’s Pillar, erected in 292 AD. Afterward, you’ll have the chance to see the Sultan Qaitbay Citadel from the outside, one of Alexandria’s most iconic landmarks. Once your day tour concludes, we will drive back to Cairo. Arrive in Cairo and check in at your hotel for the night.

Built in 1256 AD for Sultan Hassan bin Mohammad bin Qala’oun, this impressive structure served as both a mosque and a religious school for all sects, Next, you’ll visit El Refa’i Mosque, which is located just across a pedestrian street from the Sultan Hassan Mosque. Hanging Church (El Muallaqa, Sitt Mariam, St Mary) - Next, you’ll embark on your Coptic Tour, beginning with the Hanging Church, also known as the Church of the Virgin Mary. Nestled within the walls of the Water Gate of the Roman fortress, this remarkable church is considered one of the oldest in Egypt, dating back to the 4th century.

Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus - Next, you’ll visit the Church of St. Sergius (Abu Serga), believed to be built on one of the locations where the Holy Family rested during their flight from Herod. Continuing along this route, you’ll arrive at the Ben Ezra Synagogue, Egypt’s oldest synagogue, dating back to the 9th century. After this fantastic and memorable tour, you’ll return to your hotel to relax and refresh before an overnight stay in Cairo.
