Rabat – Chefchaouen
Chefchaouen Medina - Our journey continues to the picturesque city of Chefchaouen, nestled in the heart of the Rif Mountains. This vibrant town is famous for its blue-washed walls, steep narrow streets, and maze-like alleyways. It’s a peaceful and charming place that’s a feast for the eyes.
Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
Volubilis - Leaving Chefchaouen, we travel back to the 3rd century to visit the Roman city of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. During the 60-minute tour, you’ll see the House of Orpheus, Decumanus Maximus, Triumphal Arch, House of Dionysus, and House of Dionysus.
Meknes - After exploring Volubilis, we continue to the imperial city of Meknes, which was Morocco’s capital during the reign of Moulay Ismail (1672–1727). Here, we’ll stop to photograph the stunning Bab Mansour el-Aleuj (Gate of the Victorious Renegade) and visit the Granaries and Royal Stables where Moulay Ismail housed his 20,000 horses. We will stay in our Riad in Fes.
Fes Guided Tour
Fes - Today, alongside your local Fes guide, you’ll journey back in time through Fes’ labyrinthine streets. Once considered the Mecca of the West and the Athens of Africa, Fes comprises three districts: Ville Nouvelle, the newest part built during the French protectorate; Fes-Jdid or New Fes, home to the Royal Palace and Jewish Quarter; and Fes El Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site founded in the 9th century and home to the world’s oldest university, The University of Al-Karaouine, founded in 859 and still operational today. Your tour will include: – Gateway of the Royal Palace and the Jewish Quarter – Pottery and Tiles complex – The Tanneries – Medina of Fez with its “souks” (markets) – Bou Inania Medersa and Al-Karaouine University.
Fes – Ifrane - Midelt -Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Ifrane National Park - Today, we begin our adventure to the desert. On this long drive, we’ll pass through Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland” for its resemblance to a Swiss Alpine resort, where we’ll stop for photos. We then head to Ifrane National Park to see the monkeys that inhabit this Cedar Forest.
Midelt - Lunch will be in the Berber town of Midelt.
Merzouga Desert - We continue driving through a series of fortified villages and the Ziz Valley, which boasts 283 different types of palm trees, finally reaching the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Here, your camel awaits for a once-in-a-lifetime 1-hour trek while watching the sunset, followed by a night under the stars in a luxury desert camp.
Merzouga Sightseeing Tour
Merzouga - Today, we explore the Merzouga region. We start with Dayet Srij, a small lake with a diverse bird population, then discover Gnaoua music in the village of Khamlia. Lunch will be in the village (Berber Pizza), followed by a visit to meet nomads in the Hamada “black desert” and have tea in their tent. Finally, we return to your hotel near the dunes of Merzouga.
Merzouga – Todra Gorge– Ouarzazate
Todgha Gorge - After an early morning to catch the stunning sunrise and a delicious breakfast in the dunes, we take a leisurely camel ride back to your car and head to Todra Gorge, a narrow canyon with sheer stone cliffs 300m (985ft) high. Here, you can enjoy a hike among these breathtaking canyons, palm groves, fig trees, and grapevines.
Ouarzazate - We then continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” home to the 17th-century Kasbah of Touarirt and several Hollywood-caliber movie studios.
Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech
Ouarzazate - We start our day by visiting the famous Atlas Studio, known for producing many Hollywood hits like Gladiator, The Mummy, and more.
Ait Ben Haddou - Next, we visit Ait Ben Haddou, a well-preserved Kasbah and UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a 1-hour tour. Several films and TV shows have been shot here, including Lawrence of Arabia (1962), The Jewel of the Nile (1985), Gladiator (2000), Alexander (2004), and Game of Thrones (2013).
Marrakech - Finally, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, the highest pass in Morocco at 2260m (7417ft), to reach Marrakech.
Marrakech Guided Tour
Medina of Marrakesh - Today, with your local guide, we’ll uncover the secrets of Marrakech, known as “The Red City.” Our visit will include the 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, The Bahia Palace, and a wander through the narrow streets and alleyways of the Medina with its colorful souks and skilled artisans.
Jemaa el-Fnaa - We’ll wrap up our Marrakech visit at Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, an open-air theater and restaurant bustling with storytellers, performers, snake charmers, water sellers, and food carts.
Essaouira Day Trip
Medina of Essaouira - Essaouira is a charming seaside town established in the 18th century by the Portuguese. Formerly known as Mogador, Essaouira was fortified by a French captive architect, Theodore Cornut, under the orders of Sultan Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdullah.
On the way, you’ll see many Argan trees, which are economically and ecologically vital to the area. Goats often climb these trees. We’ll stop at an Argan Oil Women’s Cooperative to learn about the oil’s various uses, from cosmetics to medicine.
Once in Essaouira, enjoy the afternoon exploring this delightful town. Stroll along the beach, visit the rampart called Skala (The Battery) left by pirates, and get lost in the Medina with its endless craft and art shops, featuring artifacts carved from local Thuya wood. See the Mellah, the former Jewish quarter, and don’t forget to savor fresh local fish for lunch by the port.
After enjoying a seafood lunch, we drive back to Marrakech.

Marrakech - Depending on your flight details, we will transfer you to either Marrakech or Casablanca airport, marking the end of our service.
