Wonderful trip to Annapurna / Chitwan / Kathmandu - Lovely trek in the Annapurna Conservation Area with guide Rames and porter Raju. I was well taken care of as they were very attentive and responsible. I appreciated their honesty, genuineness and care. They were always looking after my best interest which meant a lot to me. Ganga was great to work with. He would always answer promptly and communicate clearly. ABC 123, Thanks to the Nepal Hiking Team - Some friends and I had an amazing trek to the Annapurna Base Camp thanks to Nedra (Guide), Rahm (AG), Lahman (Porter), and Gorvan (Porter). Everything from the logistics arrangement and airport pickup to the final trek day was nearly seamless, with flexes made to maximize our schedule. Nedra in particular was a fantastic guide with a great sense of humor, he also communicated extensively with us regarding the scheduling of each day and different approaches to the walk. He was a fountain of information on the flora and fauna, even if we incessantly bugged him about yeti and tiger sightings- in reality we did see quite a few monkeys on the walk from Tadapani. Rahm at one point saved one of our crew from an unexpected rockfall, seeking cover ASAP and reaching back to Nedra to maintain communications. The professionalism was off the charts. As to the trek itself, each day was a unique adventure through the Nepali landscape, culminating in a gobsmacking 360 of the Annapurna Massif from Base Camp. Seriously folks, this walk has it all: wire bridge ingress/egress, strolls through rhodendron blooming forests, big snow stepping, drops into waterfall laden gorges, highland-esque canyons, and high sierra style pine forests. Easily the most beautiful and varied hike I've ever been on a day to day basis. The difficulty wasn't severe, however, that is largely thanks to the assistance from the NHT porters who made life easy for us by hauling duffels between each stage. They are incredibly strong and work equally as hard. We can highly recommend the NHT for all your trekking needs. They have a great system and crew to ensure you and yours are running on Dhal Bhaat Power for more than 24 hours. Looking forward to the next one.

A CLASS TRIP, MEMORABLE IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE - Easy online management of the trip. Prebrief with one owner of this company plus debrief following the trip with both brothers answered all our questions with patience. Guide Ramesh and 2x porters Santosh and Tulisi all made the ideal team who got the 3 of us through the Annapurna Curcuit trip. They were generous, strong, warm, professional and helped in every way possible. This was an A class trip, reasonably priced. I highly recommend this company and thank them for a memorable and fabulous time. 10/10

Annapurna Base Camp - I have just returned from trekking to Annapurna Base Camp, which I booked through the Nepal Hiking Team. It was the most amazing experience and exceeded all my expectations. Netra Subedi, our main guide, looked after us from start to finish. His attention to detail and his ability to go above and beyond in all respects amazed me. The team of Assistant Guide (Ram) and Porters (Guarav and Laxman) again could not have done enough for our group. We had the best time ever and I loved every moment of it. I can’t wait to come back and do another trip with Netra and the team again soon!

Annapurna Basecamp Trek - The trek team assigned to us for Annapurna Basecamp have just been amazing from the start. Our guide Netra, Assistant Guide Ram and our porters Gaurav and Laxman have honestly been outstanding through the entire the trip and quickly became our friends. They were all readily available to help or answer any questions. Netra was fantastic at managing the group in terms of different paces as I personally was a bit slower when it came to steps, we were a group of 4 so usually either himself or Ram would stay with me when I either went a head or was behind. On one particular day there was a rock slide on our way to Dovan and I was a head of the group with Ram. In this moment Ram was just fantastic and handled the situation with confidence, he quickly got me to cover under a bush and then continued to shield me from any rubble- it was certainly an experience and I can honestly say I felt safe knowing I had Netra and Ram as our guides. Netra sometimes encouraged us to go a bit further on certain days advising us it would help the following day and make it a bit easier- safe to say his advice was always right! He would also always get us the best tea houses and each night we were also always treated to apple and pomegranate for pudding which was such a lovely touch as other hikers would regularly ask if we ordered that of the menu. Our porters Gaurav and Laxman were always a head and had our bags ready at every destination- there are honestly no words to describe how incredibly fit these guys are as they made it look easy carrying our bags and were always around to have a laugh with us. I certainly wouldn’t of made it to ABC carrying my own bag with all the steps so as far as I’m concerned these guys are just heroes in my eyes and I’m honestly so grateful for their assistance! This trip has been a once in a lifetime experience and I can’t thank the team enough for helping me get to ABC safely and encouraging me when I felt I couldn’t make it. The team have just been fantastic and I would recommend each and everyone of them to anybody considering a trek in Nepal. As for a guide, well there’s only one Netra and I feel so incredibly lucky that we got him and I will certainly be recommending him to any of my friends and family considering future treks. Nepal hiking team overall have been brilliant, so thankyou for giving me an incredible and memorable experience.

Fantastic Trek, Wonderful Service - My wife and I just completed a ten day trek to ABC under the care and attention of the Nepal Hiking Team and couldn’t be happier with the service they provided. From the airport pickup in Kathmandu at the start and all along our program, which included a short stay in Chitwan, and then on to our trek, things went smoothly, exactly as planned. Communication was good, timely, accurate and reassuring. On the trail, our guide Navaraj Thapa (Raj) and porter Surendra were constant companions that quickly became friends. They greatly enhanced our trip. Without them we would have been lost. Raj was knowledgeable of sites along the way, the route, and operators at the various guesthouses where we stayed. The second day into the trek I was having trouble with the high altitude, was out of breath, Raj noticed, and took my backpack and carried it the remainder of the day. That act was a trek saver. Thankfully the next few days we walked through lower elevations and I adjusted and carried my pack the rest of the trip. Both Raj and Suren were always cheerful, attentive, and took care of every and any need we had. We thank Nepal Hiking Team for providing such capable people to accompany us on our journey.

Trip of a lifetime! - My husband and I had a wonderful time on our private Annapurna base camp trek with the Nepal Hiking team! Ganga was really helpful in helping us plan the trek, and also arranging 3 days in Chitwan and time in Pokhara and Kathmandu. Our guide Navaraj Thapa was the best! He took excellent care of us on the trek, making sure we had everything we needed and were always safe and as comfortable as possible. I can’t imagine a more attentive and helpful guide. Our porter Surendra was also great. He was super strong, sweet, and also really helpful. Between our guide and porter we felt completely safe and well cared for. We saw many people on the trail who were doing it on their own and I honestly think they were crazy. For us having a competent guide and porter made all the difference in taking away the stress and making this a great trip. They knew the area so well and how to make the most of our time. For example, we had hours at the base camp of Annapurna, with glorious sunshine and perfect views, after all the other tourists had left. I would highly recommend Nepal hiking team, and particularly Navaraj and Surendra.

Amazing Experience in Annapurna and Everest Base Camp w/ the Best Guide! - I did the Annapurna Circuit Short Trek (12 days) with Nepal Hiking Team in Nov 2023 and after having had such an amazing experience with the company and guide, I came back to do the Everest Base Camp Trek (16 days) in Mar 2024! Nepal Hiking Team did a fantastic job making the trips both fun and seamless. I didn't have to plan a single thing! They took care of every detail including airport pickups, transfers, lodging, food, and permits. Hiking for multiple days at altitude can be extremely difficult and possibly dangerous so you really want to make sure you have a guide you can trust. We felt so lucky to have been matched with our guide, Manoj. He is the perfect combination of reliable, knowledgeable, caring, and funny. Truly couldn't have imagined anyone better as a guide and I specifically requested him again for my EBC Trek when I went back for round 2!
