Highlights

Visit 3 major temples & see the sunset from top of mountain

Angkor Thom South Gate - Angkor Thom was established as the capital of Jayavarman VII’s empire, and was the centre of his massive building program. One inscription found in the city refers to Jayavarman as the groom and the city as his bride.

Bayon Temple - The Bayon is a richly decorated Khmer temple at Angkor in Cambodia. Built in the late 12th or early 13th century as the state temple of the Mahayana Buddhist King Jayavarman VII, the Bayon stands at the centre of Jayavarman’s capital, Angkor Thom.

Baphuon Temple - The Baphuon is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia. It is located in Angkor Thom, northwest of the Bayon. Built in the mid-11th century, it is a three-tiered temple mountain built as the state temple of Udayadityavarman II dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva.

Terrace of the Elephants - The Terrace of the Elephants is part of the walled city of Angkor Thom, a ruined temple complex in Cambodia. The terrace was used by Angkor’s king Jayavarman VII as a platform from which to view his victorious returning army. It was attached to the palace of Phimeanakas, of which only a few ruins remain.

Terrace of the Leper King - The Terrace of the Leper King is located in the northwest corner of the Royal Square of Angkor Thom, Cambodia. It was built in the Bayon style under Jayavarman VII, though its modern name derives from a 15th-century sculpture discovered at the site. The statue depicts the Hindu god Yama, the god of death.

Angkor Archaeological Park - We will have a lunch break in Angkor Park at a local restaurant for about 45 minutes to 60 minutes. For food and drink, you will need to pay by yourself.

Angkor Wat - Angkor Wat is a temple complex in Cambodia and is the largest religious monument in the world, on a site measuring 162.6 hectares. Originally constructed as a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire, it was gradually transformed into a Buddhist temple towards the end of the 12th century.

Phnom Bakheng - If the weather allows and you are not too tired, we can take you to see the sunset at Bakheng mountain.

  • About Tonle Sap Tour: The end of March to the end of July is a crucial time in all the floating villages in Siem Reap, as the water levels start to recede and present a unique opportunity for tourists to experience a new perspective. Although the picturesque landscape of the floating community may lose some of its charm during this time, visitors have a chance to immerse themselves in the daily life of the villagers living in the dried season. While some boats may become stuck, and smaller canoes are unable to traverse the jungle forest, these challenges add to the thrill of the experience. The dry season in floating village of Kompong Phluk may not be the ideal time to visit for those seeking postcard-perfect photos, but it offers a chance to witness a facet of the village’s daily life that is not typically seen. As they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. We recommend visitors to embrace this rare chance to witness a different facet of this incredible destination and truly get a different taste of life in the village.

Great guide makes the Cambodia trip worthwhile - Knowledgeable, humorous ,attentive and honest guide, Mr. Sam has made my journey more fun and memorable. Mr. Sam genuinely wants to share the best of his knowledge with me and my family, besides he is an excellent and professional photographer, which helps us to take a lot of great pictures. I have back and leg pain during the journey, Sam and his partner, Mr Thea was very kind to help me with some of the steps climbing, and make the seat comfortable for me in the car during driving. They are truly great representatives of Siem Reap, Cambodia.

We all really enjoyed how interactive Sam was and feel lucky to have him as a tour guide for the special adventure! Best tour ever! - If you’re looking for a fun, engaging, informative and accessible tour of the great medieval city of Angkor, look no further than ASEAN tours, specifically the brilliant Mr Sam and our faithful driver, Thea. We found the two day trip suited us perfectly. We toured the blockbusters Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom on the first day, and did a boat tour of Asia’s biggest lake Tonle Sap on the second, as well as a tour round a local market, a palm fruit bakery and some thoroughly exciting temples in the afternoon. Mr Sam was very funny and explained some of the more intricate history and mythology with verve and class. You would struggle to believe he’s been doing it for as long as he has! We were extremely impressed by Mr Sam and would recommend him to anyone. The driver, Thea too was professional and efficient and always had a cold towel waiting at the end of every temple visit. He also went the extra mile to deliver my sunglasses back to me after I’d left them in the car. Thank you so much for an unforgettable few days in Siem Reap! All best, Jayavarman

5 stars - thank you Mr Sam - We had an amazing time going around Angkor with our brilliant tour guide MR SAM! Him and the driver Thea were super helpful, very informative, and made the trip one we will remember forever. We spent two days and I would highly recommend it - seeing Angkor Wat, Tonlie Sap and the various temples was extraordinary. The tour would not have been the same without Mr Sam’s explanations, jokes, and exceptional work.

Informative and Enjoyable Tour! Very nice - The customer service was excellent. The tours were informative and our tour guide Sean made them interesting. He was genuine and helpful. Our drive Mr. Savong was always on time and prepared a cold towel each time we arrive back at the car from the temples. Although it's a small gesture, it was something we look forward to after really hot walks under the sun. The tour was flexible and private for me and my wife. Sean took many pictures for us and provided tips and guided us through all the sites.
