Great Trip! Can't wait to return! - I had Alaa Eldine my first day, and Mohamed the second. I am a flight attendant and flew standby, so everything was last minute and the staff was great at organizing everything for me. On the first day, Alaa Eldine organized a driver to pick me up from my Cairo hotel, and take me to the airport, where they booked me a flight to Luxor. Once in Luxor, Alaa met me and took me with a private driver and air conditioned car to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. The Valley proved to be a little too hot for me that day, but I was able to enjoy some of the tombs. Luxor was incredible. We also stopped at the Papyrus factory which was cool, as well as the factory where carved statues were being made. I then went back to the airport and flew to Aswan, where I stayed overnight in Citymax, an inexpensive but incredible hotel in Aswan. The next day I met Egyptologist Dr. Mohamed, who took me with a private car down to Abu Simbel, and then over to Philae. The trip was amazing, we drove a few hours past farms and the Sahara and I learned about the history of different kings. I saw so many temples and sights it was an exciting great trip. I felt like Indiana Jones, learning and exploring through the history of Egypt and the Nile. I can't wait to return, because it was a great trip. Alaa was very intelligent and educated me about the people and places of Egypt. I recommend that travelers come with an open mind and a sense of adventure and be ready for a great trip!
