Avanos - Its name in the period was Venessa. The tradition of making ceramics in the district dates back to Hittites. The ceramic mud made from red soils and loam brought by Kızılırmak(Red River) is shaped in the hands of the ceramic artists of Avanos.

Devrent Valley - Devrent Valley also known as valley of Fairy Chimneys. Not very large valley , with small tuff cones standing close to each other by the hundreds and making the horizon look ragged.

Conical shapes of single bodies with several heads scattered in vineyards make the area a nice walking place. Was used for seclusion by priests aimed to live a reclusive life.

That was also used by the Christians at the end of the 5th century. If you can look from a distance up on a hill, you can notice that the valley has a shape like a finge. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent service - Turkey Travel Hits ( Eyewitness Travel) was like my personal assistant through our my trip, I am seriously thinking they do not sleep and standing by there for you all the time! As soon as I booked, they asked my details to book me the return flight to Cappadocia, then sent me my tour itinerary, it was very clear and has all the details I wanted. The company pick us up from Cappadocia for the two days tour was a very good company too. They managed to find us a balloon ride in short notice and it was very reasonable price too. We didn't plan to have the ride, but other tourist on the same tour highly recommended, so we went, it was professional and safe! The one night hotel stay was in a very good hotel, we have Elysee Cave Hotel, it was a little problem with the room, at the same time Turkey Travel Hits sent me a message asking how was my 1st day tour? I was like wow very good after sales services, so I told them my problem with the room, within seconds they replied and promised if the hotel has room available they will request a room change for me. 😱 A few minutes later we have a room change, all sorted. The tour in Cappadocia was so good too, you get to see almost everything. The shopping programme was little annoying but I guess they need to make their living. At the end of the tour, when we fly back to Istanbul, the Ajet airline cancelled our flight due to bad weather, I was so panicky as I booked tour the next day in Istanbul. I messaged Turkey Travel Hits, within seconds they replied again, although not much they can do, as it was due to the weather, it wasn't anyone fault, the airline has only one or two person speaking English, no information given, we were so worried, Turkey Travel Hits was there trying to give me all kinds of support and calm me down. I was so glad they were there, from 7pm till 10pm, they were on the WhatsApp to give me all the support 🥰😍. Until we were given a hotel room to stay a night, they told me that next day as soon as I check in, I should give them the flight details, so they can rearrange the pick up for me. So I written a message next morning around 7:30am, thinking they will read my message when they start to work at 9am and has plenty of time to rearrange my pick up before I land. No! Within seconds they replied and have everything sorted for me! They even sent me a video to show me how to go to the right place to get my return pick up from the airport back to the Istanbul hotel. This kind of after sales services I think every business should learn from them. I had to say thank you so much for everything! Your help is appreciated 👍👍👍

With this trip we felt the magic of Turkey and we will return - Huseyin Yayla prepared an itinerary for us tailored to what we wanted to know in tours and excursions in several cities in Turkey, including all the land and air transportation required from our arrival in Istanbul from Mexico until our departure 15 days later, offering us the best price. and excellent and constant attention and follow-up during our stay. We spent 6 nights in Istanbul at the Sümengen hotel, where we did, among other activities, the private walking tour of the old city and the half-day cruise on the Bosphorus. We toured the places we most wanted to see throughout Turkey, guided by very professional and knowledgeable people, many of whom explained everything in Spanish very well. We started with the day trip to Troy from Istanbul and spent a night in Cannakale. The next day we visited the ruins of Pergamon, and arrived at Kusadasi, from where we visited Ephesus and the tour of Pamukkale and Hierapolis for two days, then we flew to Kayseri from where we were transferred to Cappadocia, to the city of Goreme where We spent 4 nights and took the Northern Cappadocia Tour, the hot air balloon flight, the Southern Cappadocia Tour, and the ATV tour visiting different valleys. All the hotels we visited, especially the Sumengen Hotel, located behind the Blue Mosque, met our expectations, with very friendly and professional treatment from all its staff. Ground transfers were made in medium-sized vans with a maximum of 8-10 people. It has been one of the best vacations of our lives and for this reason I am writing this review, I highly recommend Eyewitnesstravel Turkey.

A story about wonderful service in Istanbul. - A story about wonderful service. I was in Istanbul on holidays and I booked a 2 day trip to Cappadocia with Eyewitness travel in the Sultanahmet district. Ruken Ruken from Istanbul Tourists page on Facebook recommended Eyewitness travel and the World Heritage hotel for me, 2 great choices. The 2 day trip was well organized, everything ran very smooth and on time. The hotel (Elegance Suites Cave Hotel) location in Goreme was excellent and the room and service was great. We had a great few days in Cappadocia seeing all the sites. While we were waiting for our shuttle to the airport at our hotel in Goreme I left my new expensive sunglasses on a table behind me, when I realized my sunglasses were missing I could not remember for sure where I left them. I was very upset because they were a present from my wife for my birthday and only had them 2 weeks. One my return to Istanbul I went to Eyewitness travel to see if there was any chance my sunglasses were found not expecting any good news and this is when the wonderful service starts. I explained to Ezo the lady working at Eyewitness travel what had happened and straight away she call the hotel in Cappadocia and they found my sunglasses and Ezo arranged to have them picked up and brought to Eyewitness travel in Istanbul. Ezo said to me my sunglasses would be back at the travel agency the next day, to be honest I could not believe that someone would be as helpful as Ezo was. The next day I went by the travel agency and was greeted with a friendly smile from Ezo and she had my sunglasses. I want to give special thanks to Ezo and Eyewitness travel and the Elegance Suites Cave Hotel for the wonderful service. I highly recommend Ezo and Huseyin at Eyewitness travel in Istanbul.
