Our experience with Braulio Paredes Chucya as our guide in Cusco and Machu Picchu exceeded all expectations - Our experience with Braulio Paredes Chucya as our guide in Cusco and Machu Picchu exceeded all expectations, providing us with profound insights into both historical sites and contemporary issues. Upon arriving in Cusco, Braulio immediately recognized our confusion regarding the logistics of visiting Machu Picchu. He patiently guided us through the process of purchasing bus and park tickets, carefully explaining the options available and ensuring we chose the best time of day for our visit. Once inside Machu Picchu, Braulio led us through the park's VIP trails, offering detailed explanations of the significance of each site and allowing us to appreciate the majesty of the ancient Incan ruins from unique vantage points. In addition to Machu Picchu, Braulio dedicated two days to exploring Cusco and its surroundings. His tours encompassed both well-known landmarks and hidden gems, providing us with a comprehensive understanding of the Incan Empire's cultural and historical significance. Braulio's fluent English and engaging storytelling skills brought history to life, making each site visit informative and captivating. What made Braulio's guidance particularly enriching was his personal connection to Incan heritage as a direct descendant. He shared with us his pride in the accomplishments of his ancestors, as well as the injustices they suffered during the Spanish conquest. Braulio's passionate advocacy for preserving Incan cultural heritage resonated deeply with us, inspiring us to learn more about and support efforts to protect these invaluable legacies. Thanks to Braulio, we departed Cusco and Machu Picchu not only with a deeper knowledge of Incan history and architecture but also with a profound appreciation for the advanced skills and achievements of the Incan civilization. His expertise and dedication to educating visitors about his cultural heritage made our experience unforgettable and left us with a renewed respect for the enduring legacy of the Incan people. We wholeheartedly recommend Braulio Paredes Chucya as a guide for anyone seeking a transformative journey through the heart of Peru's cultural treasures.
