Over two days you will experience the World Heritage Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the reef and explore two Outer Great Barrier Reef locations.
The Daintree Rainforest Tour is a small personalised tour with custom-built 4WD vehicles. Your naturalist driver-guide has extensive knowledge of flora, fauna, history of the area and aboriginal culture, which will ensure your day will be a memory of a lifetime.
The Outer Great Barrier Reef Tour has been locally owned and operated for over 30 years. Enjoy unlimited snorkelling over 5 hours, delicious BBQ lunch onboard and a free glass of wine for the journey home to Cairns.
- Please choose your Rainforest Tour as the first day of your booking. Once booked, please contact the tour operator once booked to choose your Reef Day.
- The tours do not need to be on consecutive days. Please speak to the tour operator once booked.
- The Rainforest Day will have a maximum of 20 passengers. The Reef Day will have a maximum of 160 passengers.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Great day on the water - The staff on the reef tour were amazing and couldn’t do enough for everyone on board even though the weather wasn’t good the trip and lunch were excellent the overall day was good and well worth the trip

Rainforest, Beach, Rivers and a Gorge! - The best part is always the tour leader and Rowan didn't disappoint! He is very knowledgeable about the area and was very friendly, and inclusive of everyone. The whole trip from the boat on the river to see crocs, a walk on a pristine beach, a delicious lunch at a jungle restaurant, unique ice cream flavours to try, and a swim at Mossman Gorge completed an amazing day. Well worth the time and money! Highly recommended!

Fenomenal Adventure - The great Barrier reef boat adventure was fenomenal. The team was very organized, professional, entertaining and knowledgeable. The boat was clean the food was plentiful and very good. We had a blast thank you

Beautiful location - Our guide Gavin was both very knowledgable and entertaining. The Daintree is such a stunning location and Billy Tea tours made it even better. We'd highly recommend booking this tour.

A great tour of the Daintree Rainforest. Very well done! - Unfortunately the reef tour was cancelled due to the threat of oncoming Cyclone Jasper, but the Rainforest tour did go ahead and it was excellent. Guide Rohan was personable and a great tour guide throughout the day, with informed commentary and an emphasis on keeping things moving. He was awesome. The stops were fun, especially the ice cream and the swimming hole. It was a full 12 hour day, but it was well worth it. Loved every second.

Exceeded Expectations! - The Billy Tea Daintree Rainforest day trip far exceeded our expectations! The tour provided pick-up and drop-off transfers from our hotel which was very convenient. The vehicle itself was very accommodating, with plenty of windows all over the bus to ensure everyone could get good photos during the scenic drives. Our tour guide Graeme was quick to point out interesting plants and animals throughout the day, enriching the experience with fun facts, songs, and a 10/10 dive into Emmogen Creek! We were so thankful for Graeme!
We would definitely recommend this day tour for anyone wanting to experience the Daintree. We got the most beautiful nature photos and gained a greater understanding of appreciation for this diverse biome.

A fantastic day out to the Daintree. And the barrier reef. - A very well planned out day.Our guide Mitch was a pleasure to be with on our full day tour to the Cape and Daintree.Kept us entertained and very well informed at every section.
Lunch the ice cream stop and afternoon tea was very nice.
Highly recommended.
We also did the full day barrier reef tour on Evolution as a two part package.
Great tour exceptional crew.
Both very professional operations.

Highly recommend Great Barrier Reef - Great Barrier Reef was absolutely incredible! Bucket list material and the staff really look after you and make your day special. If you get even a little bit travel sick though would highly recommend taking sea sickness tablets which they provide at a small extra cost on board. Unfortunately due to the recent storms, unlucky weather conditions and high tide the Daintree Rainforest experience didn’t live up to expectations. We didn’t get to see much which was a bit disappointing. However, we did visit some beautiful beaches with lovely view and had really lovely ice cream made with fruit grown locally.

Crappy customer services go somewhere with your hard earned money - Super rough waters the day that we went. I mean high tides. I believe they should have canceled it because they were asking people to take seasick pills prior to take off. The waters were rough and way too many ppl in the excursion to really enjoy and take it all in. It was like fishes flapping around on land and constantly getting kicked while on the water.
They never came to pick us up for the second tour for the rainforest tour. They told the receptionist they were coming back to pick us up and supposedly called us but that was a lie. Then viator refused to give us a partial refund even though we were at the pick up spot from 6:55 am to 8:02. We called them twice picked up on the second call only to inform us that we missed the bus lol. Crappy customer service and I would not recommend these ppl.
