Great two days with Samantha - Two days with Samantha and her excellent driver during which we managed to fit in all the key attractions in and around Harbin and its Ice and Snow Festival, including the tiger park and streets of 'old Harbin'. The itinerary for the two days was totally flexible and adjusted to our personal tastes etc. Noodles in a tiny, local restaurant with Sam and driver itself was a wonderful cultural experience, getting to 'meet the locals' Before meeting Sam we had expressed a whim to visit Wanda Mall (shopping centre, massive indoor ski resort, ice carvings) and Sam did a test run on public transport and gave bus number, fare and bus stop information assessembled as an illustrated mini 'tour guide' booklet together with video clips of the journey to allow us to do it independently the afternoon before the two day tour commenced! Great experience and great service! Next visit we intend to allow more time and venture further afield with Sam.

The best of Harbin in 2 days. Worth every penny. - In just two days, we saw the best, the strangest, the most beautiful, the most awe-inspiring that Harbin has to offer. Our guide, David, was the kindest, most gracious host, who told us not just about the sights we visited but also a lot about the history of Beijing and the life and culture of locals. We did not regret getting (for a little extra) the lunch option because David gave us an authentic tour of the culinary influences behind Beijing's cuisine in our sumptuous, delicious, overflowing lunches. David was so accommodating and understanding and flexible, and considered that we had a 3-year-old whose moods sometimes necessitated schedule adjustments and changes. And yet, we got to see everything that was advertised PLUS A LOT MORE. Thank you, David. Hope to visit Harbin again.
