Jvari Church - Your first stop is Mtskheta, the ancient capital of East Georgia. Here, you’ll visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Jvari Monastery, which dates back to the 6th century.
Svetitskhoveli Cathedral - Discover another UNESCO site in Mtskheta, the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, which dates back to the 11th century.
Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - Continue your journey to the Ananuri fortress, dating from the 14th to 17th centuries. This complex includes fortifications and residential buildings of the Aragvi Dukes. The fortress was built to protect the country from the north. Explore the site and enjoy stunning views of the Jinvali reservoir.
The visitor center and administration of Kazbegi national park - Drive further north, crossing the Jvari pass at 2395 meters above sea level, and stop at the travertine to taste the mineral waters flowing from the mountains. Finally, arrive in the town of Stephantsminda (formerly known as Kazbegi), the center of the Khevi province.

Gergeti Trinity Church - After breakfast at the hotel, take a walk (approximately 2.5 hours) to the Gergeti Holy Trinity Church, a significant 14th-century altar located on the slope of Mount Kazbegi. The church’s facade features stone decorations depicting ancient religious rituals and beliefs. If the weather is favorable, you will see Mount Kazbegi, which stands at 5047 meters above sea level.
Gveleti Waterfall - Walk back to Kazbegi town, then drive to the Dariali gorge, an important crossing point of the Caucasus range, fortified in 150 BC. Take a walk along the river to the Gveleti waterfalls, an easy upward trek of 20-25 minutes, and enjoy the views of green valleys and picturesque landscapes.
Dariali - Visit the Dariali Monastery, nestled in the Terek (Tergi) river gorge. In the evening, drive back to Tbilisi, concluding the tour with a drop-off at your hotel.
