Mikumi National Park - While driving to Mikumi national park enjoy the countryside and your guide will give you a lot of information about the country and the culture, you will be picked up from your Hotel 5am and this ride will take about 6 hrs, on your arrival you will check in and go for sunset safari. Expect to see a lot of animals and beautiful landscape, Mikumi is rich of buffaloes, lions, elephants, giraffes, crocs, zebra, hippos and more to mention. Enjoy the sunset just next to the hippo dam and then drive to your camp for hot dinner and overnight inside the park

Mikumi National Park - In the morning advised to start early 6:30am good time to see more animals, game drive will go up to 5 hours and 12pm we will leave the park experience en route game drive slowly drive so that you can take pictures, then drive to Dar es salaam, where you will arrive in the late evening and be dropped off at the hotel

We will have a stop for lunch in Morogoro town which is 2 hours driving from Mikumi National Park

Great park park, great tour, and great guide! Highly recommended - Our trip was excellent in every way. Khalifa went out of his way to ensure that my 75-year old mom was taken care of and that we got the most out of our trip. He helped us take videos and pictures, and was able to find all the big animals in the park. I was impressed with his knowledge of the park. I highly recommend the tour and Khalifa in particular. Super trustworthy and friendly.

Incredible tour with unexpected impressions - Despite our flight delay, the pickup worked perfectly. Don't be put off by the rather long journey, thanks to the good conversation provided by our driver, we learned a lot about the country and its people and the time wasn't boring. We saw a lot of wildlife outside of Mikumi Park. The perfect support and explanation by Peter was already an experience on the way. On the rides in Mikumi Park we saw more animals than we ever dreamed of. The species were explained in perfect English and also the accommodation and food made these 2 days an unforgettable experience. This safari is highly recommended

Amazing experience - The whole trip was very well organized and went very smoothly. We were going to be picked up at our hotel at 7am, but due to a lot of traffic the original driver was delayed a lot. However Khalifa was quick to arrange for another driver to come pick us up instead, which was very good. The safari itself was a wonderful and unique experience, which neither of us have ever experienced before. Patrick was an amazing guide. Easy to talk to, and with great knowledge of both the animals and the history of Mikumi National park. We got to see everything the park had to offer most of which we got to see up close, except leopard, and we had a wonderful time!

Great Experience - This was my first time visiting Tanzania, and this was a great safari. Khalifa did a great job arranging everything even when we had a delay due to a VIP convoy leaving Dar es Salaam. I recommend the 2 day safari, and staying the night in the park since mornings and evenings are the best time to see lots of animals! We had Silas as our Driver-Guide. He did a wonderful job! He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had a good time!! He knew the best places to go to see the most animals!! I would recommend this safari it was a great experience!!

Safari to remember for life - From the first contact with Khalifa everything went very smoothly. He adjusted the tour for us and they dropped us off at the airport on the 2nd day. We had amazing private tour for 2 days with Patrick who is an absolute legend. Very funny guy and very knowledgeable. You can't be board with him. Accommodation was amazing and the food as well. I would especially like to mention our driver from and to Dar. Never had a better experience. So professional and such a nice guy. Could not recommend more these guys. A million star experience!

It was just perfect ! - We had Patrick as a Driver-Guide for our safari in Mikumi and he was really professional from the begining to the end. He had many knowledges about the animals, the area and the culture, he was just perfect. Good driver and really funny, he took time to show us everting and was patient with us. We saw all the animals and finally met the lions family the second day (He worked hard to find them !). Thanks a lot Patrick and Wildtrip Safaris for this amazing moment. Amazing unique experience - Amazing safari experience with the best service! Khalifa and his team made a great effort for us to enjoy this trip at maximum. Everything was perfect and well organised. The car for the transfer from the airport to Mikumi was very comfortable, with wifi and spacious back seats. The accommodation in Mikumi was very nice. Than the game drive at the park was unbelievable, best experience ever!

Out of the way, but get to see alot of animals - Quite a drive from dar es salaam...5 hours minimum...but got to see a pride of lions up close. Was not crazy about the food (dont particularly like goat) and of course do not ask for ice. The beds and pillows were like sleeping on concrete, but the room and the bathroom were huge.
