Mikumi National Park - As you travel to Mikumi National Park, take in the scenic rural views and listen to your guide share extensive knowledge about the nation and its customs. Departure from your hotel is scheduled for 5 am, and the drive is expected to last approximately 7 hours. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your accommodation and embark on an evening game drive. The park is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, giraffes, crocodiles, zebras, hippos, and many others. Witness a breathtaking sunset near the hippo pool, followed by a return to your camp for a warm dinner and an overnight stay within the park.
Mikumi National Park to Dar es Salaam
Mikumi National Park - It’s recommended to start your morning early, around 6:30 am, to maximize wildlife sightings. The game drive can last up to 5 hours, and by 12 pm, we will commence our departure from the park. Enjoy a leisurely drive back, allowing for ample photo opportunities, and then continue on to Dar es Salaam. You’ll reach your destination by late evening and be dropped off at your hotel.
A lunch break is planned in the town of Morogoro, a 2-hour drive from Mikumi National Park, or you may choose to dine before leaving the park.
