Amazing tour guide - Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Cathy and with a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start! The guide and tour was extremely good, very flexible (appreciate this!) and for that she deserves a special thanks. We had 4 great days there, which obviously also added up to the experience. She took care of everything from food, accommodations, sightseeing tickets. She explained us the importance of each place with such enthusiasm. Cathy is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). All respect for Cathy who does a great job there; a true sample of excellent tour guide!

10/10 Perfect experience. Perfect english. Perfect service - Before you read my long story about my trip, here is the conclusion: If you are not able to speak mandarin, you must to arrange a tour, and Marcopolo (Kathy) is the perfect choice. 10/10 recommend her to everyone I know looking for Beijing trip. So.. here is the long story about my trip: This is my first visit to China for business purposes. I spend almost 1.5 weeks for business trip and during the business trip there were always someone who assist me to translate or buy something for me. Then I decided to extend my stay to see great wall of China, alone. I’m a seasoned solo traveller and now my way up using google/google maps. But oh boy, China is different: I cannot find taxi without app; Didi apps that you download outside China doesnt work, and no one can speak english. Walking is the only way for me to go place to place. So, if you want to do it by yourself without help, good luck and make sure you are able to walk far. I decided to go to this tour - Marco Polo to arrange private 2 days beijing and great wall trip. I want to enjoy the site with my own pace (walk with slower pace) and wake up anytime I want without need to think about other person. Kathy (marco polo) do beyond my expectations. 1. She call my hotel before my arrival to make sure that I know that she will waiting in the lobby in the morning, including setting up the remind call in the morning. Amazing, never had this kind of service before. 2. Excellent english! This is a must have to mentioned. During my business trip, my business partners arrange some trips in other city. The travel guide at that time only able to read a book in english, but you cannot speak in conv.level. Kathy have excellent english, you can talk with her about anything! Such a relieve to have her in my trip. FYI, she mentioned she also often arrange a tour trip to EU and other english speaking countries. No wonder she have good english. 3. Her knowledge about the city is impressive. To put in a simple wording, she know everything. The most interesting fact for me: the picture of Chairman Mao is being replaced every year and its weighted more than 1 ton. 4. Excellent arrangement: Minimum unnecessary walk. She ask the driver to drop me in the front gate, and pick up us in the other exit gate. Just wait 1 min, and voila the car is there. A lot of people need to transfer using bus, but not for us. She making sure our car able to pass through security and drop us in front of the gate. She also arrange a brand new car for us, very comfortable car and nice driver. 5. She arrange limited walk for me, just because I’m lazy to walk or climb stairs. She choose the most efficient walking route for me. Love her for this. 6. Perfect timing: every site the timing feels spot on, not too long not to fast. You got what you need. 7. Others: she help me to arrange a pick up car for morning airport transfer and advise me to go to the nice massage place near my hotel. She also give me a jade turtle, which mean wishing me for a long live. So thoughtful! By the power bestowed to me from trip advisor, I give her 10/10 rating. Surely will connect to her again if I need another Beijing tour. Best, Fahmi
