Wonderful Two Days! - I’m reviewing the capadoccia leg of my tour with Altinkum as it has been such a pleasure. Everyone in my small group commented on how wonderfully planned this tour was— the hotels were incredible. We were also lucky enough to have the same guide, Erdi, for both days— he was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and an excellent guide. He made the tour really great, and everyone recognized how much he cares for this region, which made a big difference. I would (and have) recommend this to anyone coming to Turkey.

Memorable Cappadocia guided tour with Erdi Ozbek! - We were at Cappadocia for 2D 1N and honestly, we couldn't get enough. The views here are surreal! Erdi, our tour guide was fantastic. He impressed us with his knowledge base of each place we visited and conducted the tour at a good pace, simply no rush. He also made sure we were all comfortable and enjoying the trip. A big thanks to him. We would like to highly recommend Erdi Ozbek as your tour guide if and when you travel to Cappadocia. He's the best! Overall trip 5/5🎖

Short but sweet experieces in Cappadocia - Our guide Ali is the super star during the trip. He is patient, funny, warm, speaks Spanish to me (lol) , helpful and with clear instructions. We not only chatted about tour but life in general . Despite the cancellation of the balloon ride , and very cold weather in Cappadocia , we truly enjoyed our trip. Will definitely recommend this trip from Tour Altinkum . Also the proactive communication before the trip starts really give us assurance.

Unforgettable discovery of another world - The 1-day trip from Istanbul was very well organized. The landscape and the tour guide were stunning. Our guide, Onurcan Koçakoglu, was extremely competent and taught us everything we needed to know about history and landscape in a fun way. We really enjoyed the day - thank you very much for that!

Well Organized and Seamless - Booked a 2-day tour from IST to Cappodocia with Tour Altinkum. The process was seamless and the communication from start to finish with their office was phenomenal. I was very pleased with that. The transportation was prompt and comfortable. The site showed 6am start, however it was a 4am pickup at the hotel for the flight. First day was a long one. Upon arrival in Kayseri I was picked up immediately and there was an hour drive to the tour office where I had to wait 45 mins to get started and then drove to various hotels to pick up others. So, that was not so great. And this replicated at the end of the tour when I was dropped back at the tour office for almost an hour as they consolidated other passengers on the way to the airport. That was the only negative of the trip. The tours for the two days were timed out well. There was no rushing and the sites were explained in good detail. I do warn that the visit to Rose Hill was a bit sketchy walking up a "path" that was loose dirt and rocks adjacent to a cliff that went straight down. I am a city boy so mountain climbing was a bit nerve wracking. I do suggest good hiking shoes. One lunch was at a cafeteria style buffet that was less than memorable. The second was a kebob place that was basic and good. Cappodocia was the highlight of my time in Turkey and I strongly recommend this tour and this company. I am an event planner and really appreciated that the tour office was reachable day and night and very helpful for sure.

Great Tour and Professional Service - Very professional company with excellent pre and post tour communications - This was really appreciated as IST can be quite hectic and the communication on WhatsAPP was very reassuring. The pick up was perfectly on time (way too early for me, but is what it is!) and upon arrival to Keysari airport I was picked up promptly and dropped at a tour office to wait 30 mins. Then went to pick up at a few hotels before the tour started. This is common consolidation on tours so expect to not start the tour immediately. The tour itself hit the sites and was interesting. The guide unfortunately spoke way too fast when he did speak and was not very personable. He spent more time talking to the driver and did not interact well with the group, which is a shame because that is a big part of the experience for travelers. The second day pick up was 10AM, which gave time to sleep and have breakfast. Company used Frescos Cave Hotel and it was great! Had room 107, the best there and the staff there was top notch. After 2nd day tour was dropped at airport two hours prior to flight and everything went well, except the Turkish Air delay, which is common. Got to IST airport and told to find Gate 14 for car transport - except signs just go to 13! I texted the company and got immediate response - and there IS a gate 14, just after 13 but not on any signs! There you will find a ton of people and transport companies. There was some chaos on the transfer to hotel - but in the end this was a great time and the company did a very professional job. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great experience, just few things to keep in mind - Overall we had a great experience. The guides were local, friendly and knowledgeable. We were made clear about what to expect next. The lunch meals were very good and the trip included visits to pottery and goldsmith shops that were surprisingly good. Transportation from and to airports were done on time and was well communicated. The only downsides were that it was not communicated on this site or when we registered that hot air balloons are a separate thing that we need to booked in advance. We got lucky and got seats for about 250 USD. It's important to also know that the air balloons only fly if the weather allows (it's cancelled if it was too hot or too windy in the morning). The tour included multiple spots where we stop briefly and take pictures. It gets repetitive after a while. The second day if the tour was cut short by around 3pm when our flight was not until 9pm.
