A perfect way to get glimpses of Ethiopian History! - We had an amazing day exploring Lake Tana Monasteries with Tsehaynew! He expertly navigated us through the market and experience with local families in Ethiopia. We were unable to see the Blue Nile Fall because of the fear of conflicts in that area but bahir dar is totally Safe. Would love to see more of the country next time.

PLEASANT VISIT OF BAHIR DAR, GONDER SIMIEN! - I had a pleasant time at Bahir Dar which is a beautiful city. I was able to see to visit Lake Tana Monastery and eat fresh fish, at the restaurant where you would see lots of pelicans. I also visited the Blue Nile waterfall which is certainly gorgeous. I proceed to Gonder and visit the castle, and camp at Simien Mountian.
