Siem Reap – Angkor Wat Temples with Sunrise Tour

Angkor Archaeological Park - Begin your day with an early morning pickup from your hotel and head to the Angkor Wat temples to witness a stunning sunrise. Following this, explore Angkor Thom, a fortified city spanning 10 square kilometers. Enter through the grand South Gate, flanked by statues of demons and gods holding a giant Naga, to visit Bayon Temple. Continue to the Terrace of the Elephants and then proceed to Ta Phrom, which has been left in its natural state by French archaeologists to showcase the power of nature.

In the afternoon, visit the World Heritage Site of Angkor Wat, the largest and most magnificent of all the temples, and recognized as the 7th wonder of the world. After the tour, return to your hotel.

Siem Reap – Banteay Srei – Banteay Samre

Angkor Archaeological Park - Start your day with an 8 am pickup to visit Banteay Srei, often considered the jewel of classical Khmer art and a favorite among visitors.

In the afternoon, visit Banteay Samre and Pre Rup, a temple built in 961 as the state temple of Khmer king Rajendravarman. This temple-mountain, constructed from brick, laterite, and sandstone, symbolizes Mount Meru and is artistically superior to its predecessor, the East Mebon. Continue to explore East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, and Preah Khan. After the tour, return to your hotel.

Siem Reap – Kampong Phluk Village, Tonle Sap Lake and Old Market

Tonle Sap Lake - Begin your day with an 8:30 am pickup to visit the fishermen’s village of Kompong Phluk on Tonle Sap Lake. During the dry season (February to August), the village is accessible by car or motorbike. From September onwards, take a boat ride to Kompong Phluk to explore the village with its stilt houses, pagoda, and observe the daily activities of the villagers. A traditional boat ride will then take you on the vast Tonle Sap Lake.

Lunch at a local restaurant is at your own expense.

Siem Reap Tour with Lohn - Lohn was such an amazing tour guide, knew so much about every place we visited, gave us great background and stories from personal experience. He made the experience so much fun (we ate crickets and made an impromptu stop at a local high school to hang out with students our age) and took some amazing pictures for us! -thank you :)

Temples and floating village with Voath - My boyfriend and I wanted to be able to do as most as we could in the time we had available without the rustle of planning itinerary and transport. Booking this tour was the best thing we could have done! We had Voath as our guide and beyond all his incredible knowledge of the temples, with all the names and dates we could learn a lot about the local culture. The tour was really flexible accommodating what we wanted with the timings. We had a car with a driver for us all the time, always with fresh water quite needed at the local weather. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone in my family or friends.

Couldn’t ask for a better guide! - The temples and waterways of Siem Reap are a lifetime ‘must.’ For an experience that we’ve been planning for years, my girlfriend and I wanted to be sure that we’d be squeezing the most out of it without stress. Green Era Travel delivered an experience that couldn’t have been improved and we were especially lucky to get Voath, our guide. The process of organising was super easy and we were thrilled to have be with someone who was so well-informed about the sites we visited and Cambodia in general. If you’re looking for flexibility and a guaranteed level of professionalism, look no further!

Amazing experience with Sokkhen - Incredible experience. We did not need a guide since the driver who took us to the temples, Sokkhen, informed us at all times about the history of each temple, the culture of the place, the best places to visit... He took us to fantastic places to eat , to a food market, to try typical sweets...we couldn't have better company on our trip. We are delighted with him and we would choose him again, friendly, good people, good driver. He made our trip to Cambodia a 10. Thank you very much Sokkhen!!!

Sokkhen the best driver!! - We only reserved entrance to the temples with a driver in an air-conditioned car (highly recommended in the hottest season) since we like to inform ourselves beforehand and visit on our own and not take a guide to take us. Our driver was Sokkhen and the truth is that he was the best, he picked us up every morning at the hotel and between each temple he gave us a little information about life in Cambodia and the history of the temples as well as the plants, fruits and trees in the area since he grew up in the area. Every day he took us to eat at a different restaurant and none of them disappointed us, as well as giving us information about eating in Siem Reap and buying something in the area. The temples are impressive but the best thing that could have happened to us is to go with Sokkhen everywhere. Thank you so much!!! We will recommend it!!

The Best Way to Experience Siem Reap - Magical experience from start to finish! Our guide, Silen Truy, was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time not only to share history and highlights from each of our stops, but also to immerse us in the local culture. Two days of temples and one day seeing the lake and floating market was a wonderful mix for our 3 day trip to Siem Reap. The air conditioned van was a great way to refresh and recharge between stops. Water bottles and cold towels were presented to us each time we returned to the car, which was a nice touch and much appreciated. Highly recommend this tour! You will take home some amazing photographs!
