wholeheartedly recommended - Absolutely 100% and wholeheartedly recommended. We went on a three-day tour through the jungle with Arnol and Rendy. Both are absolutely adorable! We saw lots of orangutans but also lots of other monkeys, different animals and plants. An absolutely unique experience. The accommodation is of course rudimentary, but we were well looked after in culinary terms (the Jungle Chocolate 😝 is of course particularly recommended). I highly recommend everyone to do the tour with SeeBukitLawang!

Great experience - We had an amazing three days in Bukit Lawang. Our guides knew very good what they were doing and very helpful. Beside the mother oerangoetang with child, we also saw many other monkeys and animals like tukan, water monitor lizard,.... Me and my father enjoyed the nature, even the rainfall during the evening. I can recommend this tour!

Amazing experience with the best guides - I don't even know how to put in words how amazing this trip was. Me and my friend had 2 nights/3 days in the Jungle with Lias and Rendy and we really had an amazing time. We immediately realized that both our guides are professionals, they have a huge knowledge. We learned so much about the jungle and the animals. We were never bored with them, we had a lot of fun. I have to mention how good the food was. It was absolutely delicious and we had more than enough to eat. They always took care of us, for example they asked us plenty of time if we need rest during the hike. At the end of the trip we became friends. We couldn't have ask for a better experience. Lias, Rendy and Izoen are very nice and friendly people, I would always choose them to do a jungle trek. Izoen organized accomodation where we could stay before our Jungle tour (and the place was so amazing, that we stayed longer than we planned after our Jungle tour) and he even organized a driver from Medan airport and back.

2days 1night jungle trek bukit lawang - It was a great experience. We traveled around the jungle for two days and saw a lot of wild animals, orang oetans, gibbons and many other animals. The food during the trek was very tasty and typical Indonesian. Even before we arrived we had contact via whatsapp to arrange the practicalities of the trip (transport). The local people are super friendly and always ready to help!

jungle trekking and rafting - It was very pleasant trip. A fun guide too and very helpful. They prepare some fruits to eat when resting in the forest, it's very fun. I was lucky enough to see a few orangutans and many other animals as well.

Memorable experience! - While traveling through Indonesia by myself and mainly visiting temples and shops in Java and Bali, I felt I needed a bit more adventure. And where better to find adventure than in the jungle of Sumatra! I stayed at the Bukit Eco lodge which was really nice and pretty luxurious, and after walking around for a bit I stumbled upon See Bukit Lawang’s office. Izoen (I called him Jun) was really welcoming and knew a lot about the area so I decided to do a trekking tour of a few hours with him and Hendrik. The tour started in the early morning and we hiked around and all the while hiking, Jun and Hendrik made me feel really safe. Being Indonesian myself, I felt more like I was hiking around with my cousins! We saw a lot of orangutangs, had a really nice lunch provided by the both of them and we didn’t go rafting but we crossed the wild river by foot! If this tour isn’t an adventure then I don’t know what is. I decided to do another tour to Tangkahan but with another agency but I really regret this, as I felt super unsafe with this tourguide. I wish I went to Tangkahan with See Bukit Lawang. Makasih Jun & See Bukit Lawang team, for making my stay in Bukit Lawang so memorable!
