Chitwan Trip from Kathmandu - Good experience! Walking tour ended up being the best of the trip for us. Saw 4 Rhinos, 10ish crocodiles or gharials, 20+ monkeys, and a slew of deer and birds. There is a chance of seeing tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wolves, and dholes, but you have to be pretty lucky. I wouldn’t book this tour if seeing a tiger is the only thing that’s going to make you happy. Seems like you have a pretty high chance to see rhinos though. Hotel was much nicer than I expected. Not like a 4 star hotel, but when you’ve been staying in hostels for the past couple of months it’s a definite step or two up. Meals were included and good. Bus ride was long due to horrible roads, but the seats were comfy and there was great AC.

Amazing tour - We were picked up from our hotel and taken to where the buses leave and put on the bus we needed to be on. We had a small issue when we got off the bus, but the people at the stop were all very kind and helpful and it was quickly sorted and we were taken to the hotel. The hotel was so nice and had a good variety of food to eat, even for western travellers. Our tour guide was amazing and very informative! He spotted a rhino when we were on our walk on the first day which was amazing. I really enjoyed the river cruise and jeep safari, where we saw lots of colourful kingfishers and got up close to 2 rhinos sharing a waterhole. The dancing on the last night of the tour really was a nice end. Before getting the bus back the next morning. I would really recommend this tour to everyone! I wish we had more time to do longer!

Unique! - We had a nice time. The hotel Safari Adventure Lodge was decent, the staff very friendly, and helpful. The safari was wonderful and we got to see many animals including rhinos, deer, monkeys, and crocodiles. We also had a long hike through the jungle with a lovely guide. We ended up changing our drop off location to Phokara and the organizer was incredibly helpful in setting that up and making sure we were taken to our hotel at the new destination.

Amazing experience! - I'm so happy i chose this Chitwan adventure organised by Welcome Nepal Treks. Agency's customer service was excellent and everything was very well organised. We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful hotel in Chitwan national park. Food was delicious and served as buffet style including both Nepalese and International options. Hotel staff were such nice and helpful people. First night after the bus ride we walked to the nearby river to see the sunset and visited local village on the way there. Next morning we were taken to the river for a peaceful boat ride to watch the nature and animals wake up to a new day. After that it was time to walk in to the jungle to watch birds and animals. The jeep safari in the afternoon was so much fun! We saw several rhinos, deers and other animals, but not a tiger this time. Special thanks to our guide, who was a super nice guy and shared his knowledge about the wildlife and took really good care of the group.

The Travle Agency to Book With! - This was a peak experience in my three weeks in Nepal. My contact at Welcome Nepal Treks, Mr. Hari, was incrediblily flexible working with me needs. I changed my mind about what I wanted and asked for special accomodations many times and he was very kind and helped me get exactly what I wanted from the experience. Safari Adventure Resort was a beautiful place I would love to go back to, with the most friendly staff you could ask for.

Chitwan tour - The tour was well planned, everything went very well, I would definitely book it again! All the hotels booked were great, clean and with very friendly staff. Chitwan itself is definitely worth a trip, even if the journey to get there is long. Definitely recommended!

It was an interesting trip, and I enjoyed the nature there. - It was quite nice. The village of the Tharu people was a very cozy place, and I enjoyed my time there, experiencing local traditions and culture, and enjoying the view of green rice fields. The hotel staff and guides were really friendly, and all the dishes at the hotel were very tasty. We participated in three activities: walking in the jungle, canoeing along the river, and jeep safaris through the jungle. The jungle is amazing and very beautiful, with many shades of green, tall trees, flowers, and beautiful birds. My only regret is that it was too short; each activity lasted only about 1-2 hours. We encountered some crocodiles, a couple of rhinos, deer, and monkeys. I was a bit upset that we didn't see any tigers, as seeing one was my dream and the reason I took this trip. However, I did go on an elephant ride, which was also a dream of mine, even though it wasn’t included in this package. I spent about $50 on it. Unfortunately, the elephant riding wasn't the best experience of my life because the rider was too cruel to the animal and often beat it. It was very unpleasant for me. Also, I expected a more intimate experience with the animal, but it felt more like riding in a jeep. There was nothing intimate about the experience with the elephant. Anyway, thank you for your service. It was an interesting trip, and I enjoyed the nature there.
