Embark on a 3-day expedition of the acclaimed Golden Circle and the South Coast Ice Cave Adventure, offering an in-depth exploration of renowned Golden Circle attractions, along with the spectacular South Coast. Included in the itinerary is a visit to the breathtaking Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and a natural ice cave. Simultaneously acting as your guide and mini bus driver, our professional guide transports you to some of Iceland’s most photogenic locations like the Fjadrargljufur Canyon. This adventure guarantees a personal touch by accommodating you in a small group. Your package also includes a two-night stay with breakfast at our select hotels. Transport for pick up and drop off from designated Reykjavik points is also covered.
- What to bring: Warm outdoor clothing, a waterproof jacket and pants, head wear, and gloves. Good hiking shoes are recommended.
- The order of the itinerary might change due to weather conditions. Your guide will have full power to make amendments to the itinerary when necessary.
- Minimum age is 8 years old
- This tour has the flexibility to make the most of the seasonal changes such as changes in weather and conditions. During the summer Iceland is characterized by energizing bright nights and midnight sun. Between August and May, if the forecast is suitable, you might even be able to spot the magical show put on by the Northern Lights. It is important to note that a guided Northern Lights hunt is however not included in the tour. Other wonderful and interesting possibilities can also come up during your south coast tour with us as Iceland is full of surprises.
- We use a couple of different ice caves for our 3 Day Golden Circle & South Coast tour. Ice caves are ever-changing and unpredictable natural phenomena. We usually visit the Crystal Cave at Breiðmerkurjökull during this tour but when the Crystal Cave is inaccessible we will most likely visit Katla Ice Cave. Which ice cave is chosen will however always depend upon the conditions and safety considerations on the day, sometimes a different ice cave will be visited. If conditions do not allow us to visit an ice cave a glacier hike will be offered as an alternative.

Wonderful trip for a week in Iceland - Wonderful group and the guide, Vjeran, was lovely and very knowledgeable about the areas. He was able to recommend great places to eat, made sure to give plenty of time at all stops, and made sure everyone was comfortable.
The weather was a bit cool and rainy when we visited but it did not impact the experience.
Overall a great experience and would do it again.

Amazing trip and guide - Vjeran, our guide, aka the selfie stick, was amazing. He made the trip exceptional and always made sure our needs were met and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. He was informative as we drove from place to place and you can tell the passion he has with showing others his country. I would highly recommend the trip for the great views, but would even more recommend Vjeran for a guide.

Wonderful Experience - Just finished the tour. Our tour guide was Vjeran and he was the best. Very knowledgeable on the history of the area. Knew the sites visited well, and best of all, he was a terrific selfie-stick. Thank you Vjeran for a great 3 days.

June 2024 - I’d like to leave a review for our tour experience which took place 15th-17th June.
Thomas was our tour guide and he was excellent. He was very kind, informative and very funny. He showed great passion and care for all of us on the tour. It was a fantastic experience and he was a big part of that. Thank you to Iceland for the beauty and warm hearts!

Once in a life time experience - We have completed the tour with full satisfaction and the most memorable moments of natural beauty, a once in a lifetime experience, especially for those who love nature more than anything.
The guide was wonderful and knew everything about the history, value, and use of each place. He continuously explained the surroundings during the tour and accurately divided the tour stops into different time slots, perfectly suited for exploring each place. You can fill your camera with photos during these specific time slots, and in the afternoon, he drove us to restaurants where the food was amazing. He was a humble and patient guy with great gestures.
The accommodation was simply good but designed for those not interested in cooking, as there is no kitchen. Therefore, you have to purchase food from the accommodation's restaurant.
The ice cave tour was a special experience where your group will be handed over to another guide. The guide assigned to our group was simply spectacular. During the hiking and caving, he took perfect care of us at every tricky ice slide, ensuring our safety. They provide you with ice hiking grips, which make for a good ice hiking experience. It was a beautiful experience for us.
Don't overthink it; go and book this tour if you want to visit some reasonably good places in 3 days iceland. You will surely remember the moments.
Because I have visited many countries, I can say that the natural beauty and experience in Iceland are completely different.

Unforgettable time in Iceland - Had a marvelous time on this tour. Iceland couldn’t be more beautiful. arctic adventures puts together a great itinerary to see as much as possible and accommodates with weather to ensure the best experience. Our guide Kacper sealed the deal, always making sure the group was happy and our time was enjoyable. Would book this tour again and again. 11/10 recommend

Wonderful 3 Day Tour - My husband and I enjoyed our tour and our tour guide Johannes (I think I spelled that correctly) or Joi as we called him. Our group was small with only 6 people including Joi and to us that was a great number for touring and seeing all the different parts of the Golden Circle and the South Coast. The stops were great and with a group of our size, we never felt rushed or that we did not get a chance to see everything at our stops.
We also throughly enjoyed Joi as a guide. He was very knowledgeable about Iceland and gave thought and informative answers to all our various questions. We really loved his wonderful demeanor and his subtle sense of humor. He was definitely part of the reason we enjoyed the tour as much as we did.
