Maasai Mara to Nairobi

Ololaimutiek - Early breakfast then check out. A simple complimentary lunch will be provided at the Travellers motel on your way back to Nairobi. After this, you have an option of visiting the nearby Maasai village for a cultural tour at USD 20 per person.
We will have a chance to visit the traditional village of the local tribe here called the Maasai. They are happy to show us their culture and traditions, show us their lifestyle, and how they live and co-exist together with the wild animals. For Maasai, cows are wealth. Maasai have long employed a “green” approach to land management. Lion-hunting is a traditional—but no longer practiced—Maasai rite of passage. In decades past, young Maasai men proved themselves as warriors (moran) with the ritual killing of a lion—either single-handedly or in a group, and using only their iron spears as weapons. It’s nearly impossible to beat Maasai in a jumping contest. On arrival you will be dropped at the city Centre/hotel within the city center

Fabulous wildlife experience organized, very conveniently - I made a direct booking with this travel company. I reached through WhatsApp and everything was extremely clear and transparent from the start to the beginning. All my questions were clearly responded to, and I was extremely satisfied with the service. Tour Guide, Albert took meticulous care of us throughout the journey and was a passionate wildlife enthusiast and a safe driver as well. We upgraded to a lodge since my parents were traveling, and it was more than comfortable and convenient. It was really worth every penny.

We had the incredible opportunity to see lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, and a variety of other wild animals in their natural habitat. Visiting the Masai tribe village was a unique and enriching experience, offering a fascinating glimpse into a different culture. The accommodation was comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my dietary restrictions were meticulously catered to. Special shoutout to our guide, Samuel, who was fantastic! His expertise and keen eye got us to the best spots for animal sightings. This safari exceeded all our expectations – highly recommended!

Maasai Mara is great, just go with a different tour company - Maasai Mara is incredible. 10/10. Totally worth going. Saw the most amazing animals and scenery. And our driver James was very good - very knowledgeable and friendly. Perfect Safaris - 2/10. Everything was delayed from the pick up (was 90 mins late). I was taken to the wrong accommodation (had booked Rhino camp as part of the package) - the driver took me to a different place and I didn’t realize until I got there. Which is scary for a solo female traveler. And the place had no WiFi. So doubly scary - even though I had confirmed ahead of time that the place had WiFi. I asked to go to Rhino camp when I found out at 7 pm but the driver said “Rhino camp was closed due to a water issue” but I think that was suspect, so I had to no choice at night being by myself without internet. Also there was no electricity after 9 pm or so, hence after a full day of traveling, I couldn’t fully charge my phone. So had to limit from taking too many pictures / videos. And hot water was limited because the electricity being cut off. Overall, had a great safari but awful stay.
