Pick up from Zhangjiajie Airport/Train Station/Hotel Visit Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon & Glass Bridge

Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge - Your guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you to the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon & Glass Bridge. First, you’ll check in at the scenic area and walk across the world’s longest glass-bottom bridge. This bridge is not only the highest but also the longest glass bridge globally. It’s not for the faint-hearted. (The Glass Bridge is built between two mountains of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, measuring 375 meters in length and 6 meters in width, with a height of 300 meters from the bottom).

The Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie - After crossing the glass bridge, you can choose to experience the thrilling zip line and slide to reach the bottom of the valley, or simply walk down the stairs. Then, hike for about 2 hours through the canyon and enjoy the stunning landscape of breathtaking cliffs, lush forests, caves, and colorful streams and rivers that surround you. (You can experience the zip line, slide, VR movie, and elevator to save your energy for 100 RMB, not included).

Golden Whip Brook - After that, we can take a gentle hike in Golden Whip Stream for about 30 minutes to enjoy the beauty of peaks and streams at the foot of the mountain. Golden Whip Stream (Jinbianxi) – this enchanting valley is likely to transport you into the Pandora’s wonderland of the movie Avatar.

You will have a leisurely hike of about 1 hour along the stream. You can relax and enjoy the beautiful mountains, fresh air, and pure water.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (Tianzi Mountain-Yuanjiajie-Bailong Elevator)

Tianzi Mountain - Your guide and driver will meet you at 8:30 am, and a 5-minute private car transfer will take you to the gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The park shuttle bus will take you to the Tianzi Mountain cableway station. After ascending the mountain by cableway, you will visit the Imperial Writing Brush Peaks, Xihai Stone Forest, and other incredible views and scenery.

Yuanjiajie - After that, we will take a shuttle bus for 30 minutes to reach Yuanjiajie, followed by a 1.5-hour easy walk to the Pillar of Southern Sky, an inspiration for the Hallelujah Mountains in the movie Avatar. From there, you will proceed to the Platform of Forgetfulness to admire nearby peak views before walking across the First Bridge Under Heaven.

Bailong Elevator - We will descend the mountain by Bailong Elevator, made of see-through glass.

Sandstone Painting Institute & Tianmen Mountain (With VIP Cableway Access) & Tianmen Gate/Airport Drop-off

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park - Afterward, we will drive to Zhangjiajie city to visit Tianmen Mountain. (VIP line for cable car ride in case the waiting time exceeds 30 minutes. If there is no line, we will serve you a local dinner instead).

Known as the “New Legend of Zhangjiajie,” it’s the highest spot (1518.6m) in the entire Zhangjiajie area. The landscape there is entirely different from, yet on par with, the Zhangjiajie National Park. Both offer world-class scenery. Astonishingly, this single mountain holds 4 World Guinness Records, each of which will leave a lasting impression on travelers.

We will experience a 7.5 km cableway ride, skywalk, 999 steps, and 99 curves of Tongtian Road.

Wonderful 3 days in Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang - We visited Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang with our guide Gabrielle. The sites we visited were spectacular! Gabby was very professional, nice, fun and accommodating! She very patiently accommodated all the schedule changes (we traveled with 2 kids under 12) negotiated on our behalf (such as to ensure we all sit together on an overcrowded train). The kids adored her and we all still remember the wonderful time we had there. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Experience in Zhangjiajie with Mike! - Our trip to Zhangjiajie was absolutely fantastic! Mike, our tour guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. From the moment we met him, we felt we were in great hands. First, we visited the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and crossed the glass bridge, an unforgettable experience. Walking the glass walkway was thrilling, and Mike’s tips helped us avoid long lines and find the best photo spots. In the next two days, we explored the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianmen Mountain, where Mike’s deep knowledge of the area and local legends enriched our experience. His excellent English and warm personality made communication easy and our trip even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour and especially Mike as a guide to anyone planning a visit to Zhangjiajie. Thank you, Mike, for making our trip truly special!

Amazing guide and sites in Zhangjiajie, even with the rain! - Had an amazing time in Zhangjiajie with my guide Grace! She was extremely knowledgeable about the area and was very committed to making my only day at the park memorable. It was raining on and off throughout the day, but I could barely even notice because I was so engaged talking with Grace out on the trail just learning about all of the intricacies and facts of the area. The Zhangjiajie site itself was somewhat foggy, but I would say that it added to the mystique of the place and made for some really nice pictures of the peaks when the fog cleared out. Toward the end of the day when the rain really started to pour down, she recommended we use the remaining time to beat the rain by going to get massages at a local spot since I had not done a Chinese massage yet in my time traveling through the country. When we finished that it was by chance that we ran into some of her other guide friends that were finishing their day and they all invited me to join them at dinner. It was a great way to meet locals and interact with them in an informal setting to learn more about the local culture and things that 30 year olds like myself do in Zhangjiajie. After dinner Grace invited me to join their group to play Mahjong (the tile game) with them and I absolutely would have if it weren't for my flight out later that evening. Overall, Grace showed me the hospitality of a local welcoming guests and, more importantly, a new friend that I now have in China-- so thank you very much Grace!

Super recommended!! 🤩😊 - I had had a really time enjoying Zhangjiajie ⛰️, my tour guide was TIM 💚 and he has been very very kind everytime, patient and he really made my trip the best that I done in china, he was so puntual, organised, charismatic and always tried make my trip unique, he was excelent, has explained me a lot about the history of the park. Im eternally grateful with him for teach and show me this amazing place, his human quality is exceptional, I can recommend 💯 % this tour. I have got been completely satisfied 😊 🫡

A professional and well-organized tour with all the wonderfully jaw-dropping sights and more that gave us an experience for a li - We had a great time exploring Zhangjiajie on this trip. We got to see all the wonderfully jaw-dropping sights and were provided with insights each time. The tour was very well-organized and we didn't have to think about anything ourselves, just relax and take in the experience. Lily was our very kind and professional tour guide. She saw to our every need, made sure we had a great time, and even pressed in our wish for zip-lining in a tight schedule.

Fantastic experience - We had a two-day totally customized tour in Zhangjiajie. Venus arranged everything and Chris, our guide, helped us to discover all the scenic areas and explained lots of things. He also suggested restaurants and made lots of photos. We truly enjoyed the tour and recommend it!

Exceptional Guided Tour Experience with Paul in Zhangjiaji - My partner and I recently embarked on a two-day guided tour of Zhangjiajie, led by the knowledgeable guide, Paul. Our itinerary included exploring the renowned Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and the Tianmenshan Mountain. Paul truly made our experience exceptional. He promptly picked us up each morning, ensuring a seamless start to our day. His foresight in pre-purchasing tickets spared us the hassle of waiting in long lines, maximizing our time at each attraction. Moreover, Paul went above and beyond by assisting us in purchasing train tickets for an impromptu visit to Furong City, a delightful addition to our itinerary. Without him, we would have wasted precious time and missed out on numerous experiences. We cannot thank Paul enough for his outstanding service. We wholeheartedly recommend his services to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie.

Great Tour to visit Zhangjiajie - highly recommended! - I had an amazing time in Zhangjiajie - thanks to my guide Abbie! The private tour was perfectly organized, I was able to see everything I wanted and it went completely smooth. I could have spend even more time in Zhangjiajie and was sad that I had to leave this amazing place already. There are so many highlights in the national park area and you will absolutely enjoy every minute of it when you choose this trip. Thank you for the great time and wonderful companionship!

A once in a lifetime Experience - This place is absolutely breathtaking. I had a great time there. Ronan gave me a great tour, i highly recomend her as a tour guide, she knows a lot of interesting facts about the area and i had a great time talking with her during the tour.
