Teeq Cave and Tawi Ateer Sinkhole - We’ll take a 20-minute walk in the lush wadi before embarking on a scenic road trip to see the Teeq sinkhole, passing by the Ashor mountains.
Jabal Samhan - Marvel at the stunning view of clouds beneath the mountains, gather around a fire in the chilly weather, enjoy dinner, play a friendly game of cards, toast marshmallows, and sleep under a star-filled sky in the beautiful Samhan mountains.
East Of Salalah
Wadi Darbat - Visit the waterfall, explore the valley, and optionally enjoy paddle boating or kayaking.
Ayn Athum Waterfalls - The drive to Ayn Athum is captivating, with lush greenery lining both sides of the road. We’ll hike to one of Salalah’s most beautiful waterfalls.
Teeq Cave and Tawi Ateer Sinkhole - Stop by one of the world’s deepest natural sinkholes, measuring 100 meters wide and 211 meters deep.
Earth Gravity Controversial - Visit a unique type of African tree, showcasing an impressive botanical link between Dhofar and Africa. Nearby, we’ll see an anti-gravity point where the car moves in neutral.
Taqah Castle - Explore the most famous castle in the Dhofar region, now a museum showcasing the traditional Omani lifestyle.
West of Salalah
Ain Garziz - Delight in the natural spring waterfall of Ain Garziz and the stunning viewpoint of Ittin, often shrouded in thick fog, where we’ll enjoy the cool breeze and light drizzle.
Ayn Korr - This waterfall appears in July and August, but not every year. It was present in 2016, 2018, 2021, and 2022. If we’re lucky this year, we’ll visit it.
Mughsail Beach - After a scenic and thrilling drive, we’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking ocean view from Marneef cave and experience the jet streams gushing from the blowholes in the area.
Hidden Beach ViewPoint - Discover a hidden beach and enjoy an incredible viewpoint.
Shaat View Point - Take in the stunning views overlooking the Arabian Sea from an elevation of over one thousand meters, weather permitting.
