My Altezza safari guide shared fascinating stories about the wildlife - I was totally surprised by how interesting this safari was. It goes way beyond seeing the animals and birds that my guide Cathbert pointed out for me. He didn't just identify the wildlife, he shared insights about why the animals behave the way they do. My favorite was his explanation why wildebeests hang around zebras: it's because zebras show them where to find water. And the zebras don't mind guiding the wildebeest, because when they reach water, the zebras step aside and let the wildebeest drink first to flush out any lurking lions! You don't get stories like this at the zoo.

Safari - Altezza was a great company to deal with. Everything was layed out for you so there were no surprises. They provided excellent guides and places to stay and eat. They were always quick to respond to any issue that may have arisen. Woulds highly recommend. Also if you get Abdul as guide you will be in for a treat.

Excellent ! - The safari was perfect: we saw almost all the animals, the driver is excellent, did everything to find us the right locations, friendly, attentive... The hotels are also excellent, and the agency was there. listening to sometimes unusual requests (visiting a beekeeper on the way). Nothing to criticize, we got more than our money's worth ;-)

Amaaazing safari with Yasin - Altezza has organized our safari tour on very high level. The accommodation was perfect and the assigned safari guide - Yasin - just incredible professional. We followed his recommendations to wake up early and succeeded to see all possible animals in Taragire, Maniara, Ngorongoro. One of the bright memory was when we were chasing black rhino - Yasin have done all possible and impossible for us, but we managed to see that beautiful animal. Yasin has more than efficient knowledge about animals and their behaviors, so he was able to answer any tricky question. I only regret that I had not enough time to explore more.

Incredible experience! So many animals! - After summiting Kilimanjaro with Altezza, I added a safari to my trip. It was a remarkable experience! My tour guide Robert was friendly, knowledgeable, and an expert on finding the best places to see the animals. It seemed like we were always in the right spot to see a family of elephants or a pride of lions walk right by the car. I am so grateful for this experience!

3 day Tanzanian safari - There are no two ways about it, making a booking for a safari is not without risk. This is doubly so if you are going to a country which you are not familiar. From the very onset the Altezza website very helpfully provided a guide for the best destinations to see all the various animals, the percentage likelihood of a successful sighting, and the costs for different budgets. Even more helpful was the amazing concierge planning and detailed and helpful emails received following our initial enquiry. This involved not only the best destinations to go but useful information and links regarding travel documents re covid and visas. Importantly, no matter what time (in the UK) we emailed Altezza we always received a response (even on weekends). Altezza picked us up from Arusha airport and transferred us to our first residence (which had the most amazing grounds for exploration). On the first day of safari our guide (Simon) picked us up..he was great and very informative. We stayed at amazing Residences (especially the Escarpment Luxury Lodge which had an amazing view of Lake Manyara). All meals were taken care of and it was a case of just enjoying an amazing experience taking in the views and spotting animals. The guidance of how much to tip the guide was helpful but perhaps it would be helpful to also have a guide as to how much to tip the airport transfer driver (i believe this is added to the information pack too). Other than that there was very little that Altezza could have done to to make the experience any better. We had an amazing time and we would highly recommend Altezza to all who wish to explore Tanzania. Well done to the staff and guide and all the others unknown to us that made the trip so amazing

A Perfect Trip for our Family - I can't say enough about Altezza Travel. They responded to any question I had day or night promptly. Picked us up at the airport and gave us 5 star accommodations. Food and staff at each location when over an above. I can't say enough about our Safari Guide Yusef, He was experienced and had a lot of knowledge. Yusef went above and beyond with finding a leopard and giving us great lunches on the safari. He became part of our family as we went to each national park together. He was patient and added more to the trip like taking us to see the Massai and helping us buy a soccer ball at the market place to bring back to the Massia! I had a birthday while on the safari and Altezza arranged a wonderful cake with my name on it and the restaurant staff came out singing for me with the cake, a highlight. I will definitely recommend Altezza for any friends and family taking a safari.

Safari in Serengeti - I’d like to sincerely recommend Altezza to anyone who is planning to go on safari in Tanzania. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better experience. We booked our flights far in advance not knowing much about logistics and as a result the time we had for safari before flying to Zanzibar was not enough to check all the goals we set. Our Altezza agent was Sophia, and she was very kind and patient to talk us through all the details. She was ready to help and answered our questions what seemed like around the clock. It was a pleasure and fun to plan this tour with her! We headed to Serengeti on a plane and had three days of amazing safari. Among the most exciting sightings was a family of cheetahs with cubs, a lion pride and the funny warthogs. It was an amazing time for me and my wife, everyone should try it at least once!
