Medina of Tunis - this sprawling maze of ancient streets and alleys is one of North Africa’s most impressive medieval medinas and one of Tunisia’s great treasures. It’s home to numerous covered souks selling everything from shoes to shisha, as well as bustling cafes, alleyways full of artisans at work, and residential areas punctuated by large, brightly painted doorways. Great way to explore Tunis! - Our tour guide, Chouaib was very knowledgeable and experienced. I felt very safe throughout the tour. Chouaib knew all the good spots and how to avoid the crowds. Ahmed was our driver and he got us safely to our destinations.

Best of Tunisia 🫶 - A very good 3 days excursion, the tour guide Ahmed got a perfect time scheduling and he explained about every single visit in an interesting way. The first day was at the capital and surroundings, I was given the option to eat spicy local food, or standard food, I opted for the first option, which was great 😃👍 ( a grilled sea bream and soup and other things...) The jewel of the second day was the amphitheater of el Jem, I was surprised there by the condition of the well preserved " Colosseum" which is a Unisco site. At the first part of the second day we have seen the mosque of Kairouan which was unusual and massive and looking like a fortress The last day, we visited Hammamet,I loved Hammamet which is the home city of my guide 👌💯 I have seen a great part of Tunisia in these 3 days. I highly recommend

3 Day Package from Tunis - Thank you Didon Tour for making my first trip to Tunisia wonderful. I got 3 different tour guides for each day and all spoke English well and all the tour guides were knowledgeable and answered my answers. Here is the itinerary and some travel tips to Tunisia. Day 1: - Medina of Tunis - Lunch (included) - Ruins of Carthage - Sisi Bousaid Day 2: - Kairouan area to include the basin and Medina of Kairouan - El Jem Colossoeum and museum - Expect 2 to 3 hours drive from Tunis this day. Day 3: - Takrouan area to meet some Berber Tribe people - Forte El Ribat - Medina of Sousse Best Medina in my opinion. More shopping stalls in this one than the other two. Notes/Tips: - All day tours from 0830 to 1630 depending on your speed of walk and how much you want to see or shop. The tour guide adjusted the times to me, if I wanted to spend more or less time in an area. - To see all the ruin of Carthage takes possibly a half day but the most you will get will be 20-30 minutes on the first day. - Wear comfortable walking shoes. - Expect long rides and traffic in Tunisia. - If you take the yellow taxis here, ensure they use the meter, not quote you some prices. - This was a good cultural and historical tour. Not too strenuous but not wheelchair accessible. I recommend using this tour company. They took care of me well as a solo female traveler.
