Day 2-Explore Tsavo West- Night game Drive
Tsavo National Park West - Begin with an early morning game drive. After breakfast, swim and relax until 11 a.m., then proceed to Mzima Springs viewpoint for a picnic lunch before heading back for an evening game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Tsavo West is one of the largest conservation areas on Earth. Spot abundant wildlife, including the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, and Rhino) during day trips into the Park. Tsavo is known for its herds of Elephants that often appear red due to wallowing in the red-colored dirt. Visit the crystal-clear Mzima Springs where you can see many Crocodiles and Hippos. Mzima Springs - Mzima Springs are among the key attractions of Tsavo National Park and should not be missed during your visit. The springs consist of four natural springs located in the west of Tsavo National Park, just 48 kilometers from Mitto Andei town in Makueni county.
The Mzima Springs originate from the Chylus Hills, which are composed of various volcanic lava rocks. The springs are home to large schools of hippos and crocodiles. Mzima Springs is one of Tsavo’s most popular wildlife attractions due to its resident populations of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and other animal species.
