Amazing Three Days in Siem Reap with Sam - Our first visit to Siem Reap / Angkor couldn’t have been more perfect. When we booked our three day tour of Angkor Wat and the floating village, we did not know what to expect. Not only did we see the beautiful temples and experience the adventurous boat ride through the floating village, we learned about Khmer history, people and culture through the eyes of our wonderful guide. Sam was very knowledgeable and communicated very well. He was very patient answering our queries and requests for unusual stops. Sam made our visit extra special and would highly recommend this tour and ask for Sam!

Sam is a first-rate guide in Angkor Wat! - This was a terrific way to experience Angkor Wat, three full days touring many of the major temples and more. We saw the sun rise and fall over Angkor Wat, scaled a mountain, took in the Elephant Temple, and rode a propeller boat downriver to Tonie Sap Lake. On a trip through such an expansive site, a knowledgeable and experienced guide is a must. Sam was up for it. His English is excellent and he has an easy way of talking about the temples’ cultural/historical significance. He knows the site up and down and takes great photos, too; see for yourself. We were glad to have taken the three-day option. We were engaged from start to finish, thanks to Sam.

Excellent Tour Guide For Cambodia - Just finished wonderful 3 day tour of Siem Reap with our tour guide Lonh Vann. Saw some amazing sites and our tour guide Lonh was excellent. His English was very good, his explanations interesting and insightful with a smattering of humour which made the whole experience entertaining. The added bonus was his photographic skills using an IPhone where he created some amusing shots to go along side the usual tourist pics. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lonh if you are thinking about a trip to Cambodia. PS Driver was great and the tour company we used to organise this part of our trip, Green Era Travel, were very efficient and helpful ensuring everything ran smoothly from the minute we arrived in Cambodia.

A great 3 day adventure and culture journey! - The guides John and Sorphorn from Ultimate Private Guided Tours made the 3 day trips very enjoyable! I enjoyed hearing the myths and legends of the Hindu and Buddhist's gods and their adventures embeded into the history of the various temples we visited. I wouldn't have spotted the meaning of the carvings myself nor understood what I was seeing on my own. My knowledge of Cambodian history was minimal before I came and my reading up in the guide book not at all as pleasurable as someone telling me more about the history live and in person. The trip to the lake and the floating village was relaxing. Being solo, it was also great to have someone take a picture of me at various locations, so I also have wonderful pictures with me not just at Selfie-range. All questions I had were answered and some information from their personal lives improved my understanding of Cambodian life pre-, during and after covid. Thank you John and Sorphorn! I think the 3 day tour was the right choice for me. Although it was more a decision due to the weather and expected rainfall, I felt that having the Small Circuit Tour on day 1, then the Floating Village Tour on day 2 and the Grande Circuit on day 3 was a perfect choice. Getting used to the scorching heat and sweating in Angkor Wat on day 1 made me very tired, and getting a relief from the heat on the water on day 2 was perfect!

Sam the knowledgeable tour guide from SiemReap tour guides. - I engaged Sam as my guide for 3 days, and he was knowledgeable, easy going and gave me an in-depth knowledge of ancient Angkor, and modern day Cambodia. I was able to amend, add on and spend plenty of time shooting many photos of these marvelous looking temples. On those hot days you certainly don't need to rent a bike or tuk tuk, but Sam and the driver made things comfortable by providing cool drinks at every stop, and a most welcome cold towel to wipe away the beads of perspiration. As a travel agent, I will have no hesitation in recommending Sam and the driver to take care of your itinerary whilst you are in Siem Reap exploring the Angkor Wat temples.

Wonderful tour from a reliable guide - We had a wonderful visit to fascinating Cambodia, thanks to our guide Sam. We worked with him to customize the three-day trip before arriving, and he delivered on everything promised and more. He was driver and guide, expertly taking us to many different temples with detailed explanations of the history and culture and significance of everything we saw (in excellent English). He offered to take photos throughout, pointed out where to use the cleanest bathrooms, and organized the entire trip around our personal schedule. Don't miss out on this opportunity to have a deeper understanding of this captivating country with a local guide who will share his love and deep knowledge of this Angkor region.
