Madaba Mosaic Map - The Madaba Mosaic is a section of a floor mosaic in the early Byzantine church of Saint George. Dating back to the sixth century AD, it illustrates part of the Middle East and includes the oldest surviving original cartographic representation of the Holy Land, particularly Jerusalem.

Mount Nebo - Mount Nebo is a high ridge in Jordan, standing about 700 meters above sea level. As part of the Abarim mountain range, it is biblically noted as the site where Moses was shown the Promised Land before his death. From its peak, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the West Bank across the Jordan River valley. On clear days, the cities of Jericho and Jerusalem are visible from the summit.

Shobak Castle - Perched on a mountain, Shobak Castle is a captivating fortress built in 1115 under King Baldwin I’s reign. Its isolated desert location gives visitors a sense of being far from home. Within the castle, visitors can explore churches, ancient ruins, and a secret passage leading to a delightful spring. The castle also features a watchtower, catacombs, and various Christian carvings and Islamic tablets.

Little Petra - Also known as Siq al-Barid, Little Petra is an archaeological site north of Petra and Wadi Musa in Jordan’s Ma’an Governorate. Like Petra, it is a Nabataean site with structures carved into sandstone canyon walls. As its name implies, it is smaller, consisting of three wider open areas connected by a 450-meter (1,480 ft) canyon. It is part of the Petra Archaeological Park, though accessed separately, and included in Petra’s UNESCO World Heritage Site designation. It is often visited alongside Petra, as it is free and typically less crowded.

Access to Petra is through a scenic 1.2-kilometer-long gorge called the Siq, leading directly to the Khazneh.
