Unforgettable experience at bromo - Exploring Mount Bromo with Wedha was an absolute blast! Just like his one-day tours, Wedha's knowledge of the area and his focus on safety made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Watching the sunrise over Bromo's mystical landscape was truly magical, and it felt like one of those hidden gems Wedha loves to uncover. Despite the crowds, Wedha made sure we got the best views and even threw in some unexpected stops, like that quaint traditional shop we stumbled upon during our tour. It was there that we found some unique Batik pieces to take home, adding an extra special touch to our Bromo adventure. Even though our time on Bromo was short, Wedha packed it full of excitement, leaving us with memories to last a lifetime. Very professional agency - I did a 3 day tour with pickup in Yogyakarta and ending at the ferry terminal for Bali. En route visit Mt Bromo at sunrise and Ijen crater to admire the “blue lights” at night. Rio, whom I had contacted by WhatsApp, quickly replied to me and he came to see me at my hotel in Yogyakarta to discuss my expectations (possibility of visiting other places on the route). He then took care of organizing the trip and making the necessary reservations. He was professional from start to finish and can only recommend him. Do not hesitate to contact him. Highly satisfied 10/10 - I booked all my 7 days trip with Javanese travel If I compare the prices with other online ones, it was quite cheaper I even booked a trip to Bromo from the hotel and they picked me up in a car and showed me not just Bromo, but also many attractions on the way like Madakaripura, Plaosan etc. They even arranged vegetarian food at every place I went The tour guides have excellent knowledge of the history of Java and speak excellent English On the last day they even helped me do a lot of shopping like batik, coffee etc.

Excellent guide /driver in Java - I don’t really write reviews but felt compelled after the effort Rio and his team put in to make my trip an unforgettable one! Another tour operator canceled my Mount Bromo trip on me at the last minute which threw my backpacking plans into a mess. Having used Javanese adventures for a trip to visit Jomblang Cave earlier in the day and seeing how much I enjoyed it, I messaged Rio to see if they had any last minute openings for Mount Bromo to get my itinerary back on track. Two hours later (and 7 hours from sunrise), we were in a car leaving Jogja to Mount Bromo. With the weekend traffic, road shutdowns in Malang from the brush fires, heavy traffic going to the peak it really felt like this wasn’t going to work out. Rio pulled out all the stops and miraculously got me to the peak of Pananjakan 1 to see the amazing sight with 30 minutes to spare. Many other groups were stuck at the bottom of the hill due to the heavy traffic and I’m pretty confident that no other tour operator would have been able to make this happen for me. Rio and team were super attentive on the trip and is full of Javanese knowledge to explain culture/history. With his help, I was able to see the amazing Mount Bromo sunrise from the highest peak, climb the volcano afterwards, and get some amazing photos in hidden locations. Even after the trip was way over, I found out that I had left my sunglasses in the cracks of the car seat and he went out if his way to get them delivered back to me by the next day. All in all, I had an amazing time and can’t help out recommend this group enough to others.

Great tour guides! Top experience. - We are a family with 3 kids and just finished a 6 day tour from Yogyakarta to Bali via Solo, Bromo, Ijen, along with Rio. Rio is not only an excellent driver but is really the key to a successful tour: he enriches the trip with a lot of information both on the places visited and on the Javanese culture and local customs, he is super helpful and enthusiastic. You can rely on him, highly recommended.

Perfect way to see East Java - This trip was absolutely incredible and a great way to see some of the more difficult to reach destinations in Java. It’s a lot of time spent in the car during the day but our driver Rio was amazing and really helped to pass the time. He was a wealth of knowledge as to the history of both the places we were seeing as well as the island of Java itself. He also gave showed us a few of the less visited temples in the way out of Yogyakarta and gave us a ton of recommendations of things to do and places to see across all of Indonesia. It’s worth noting that this trip is not all-inclusive like some other tours that are available, notably it does not include entrance fees or hotel accommodations. That said, if you are willing to do a bit of the planning yourself you will save money doing the tour this way. My girlfriend and I paid $589 total for this trip, other tours which included lodging and entrance fees were in the neighborhood of $500/person. I kept track of all our additional expenses to see if it makes sense to book this tour or an all-inclusive one and this is better by a few hundred dollars, getting to be even better by of a deal as your group size increases (up to about 4, or however many can comfortably fit in a car). Here is the breakdown. 63,000 - entrance fee to Bromo village (per vehicle) 500,000 - jeep rental up Bromo 275,000 - Deddy Homestay in Bromo 220,000pp (weekday) / 330,000pp (fri-sun) - Bromo entry fee 360,000 - Omah Bapak Eco house Ijen hotel 100,000pp (weekday) / 150,000pp (fri-sun) - Ijen entry fee All together it came to 1,838,000rp given we went on weekdays, which is ~$123 split between us or $712 total. We saved $200-$300 booking through this company and I imagine a group of 3-4 would save even more. If you are going solo the all inclusive tours are probably a better deal since I’m assuming they would put you with a group to help spread out costs. Overall, we highly recommend this trip and this company. If you decide to do it definitely request Rio as your driver!
