Dar es salaam - Mikumi national park
Mikumi National Park - We will drive between 4 to 6 hours from Dar es salaam to Mikumi national park.
On the way, we will have a chance to see sisal plantations, Uluguru mountains, etc.
We will arrive in Mikumi national park at 1:00 pm. This often affords one an opportunity to see the animals at rest, seeking shelter from the unrelenting heat under the branches of a large tree.
A leisurely picnic lunch will be served inside the park. The remainder of the day will be spent inside the park.
The day concludes with checking into the Hotel and back out on safari for a drive of close to four hours.
We return to the Hotel where dinner awaits us at the hotel between 7:00 and 8:30 p.
