Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou kasbah - Ouarzazate - Dades Gorges

Ait Ben Haddou - Visit the historic kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that draws filmmakers from around the globe. This remarkable Berber village, constructed from clay and adobe, is a must-see in southern Morocco. We’ll take a guided walking tour and have lunch at a local restaurant (not included). This site has been the backdrop for many famous international films, such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Alexander. After exploring the village with your guide, enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant. Then, continue our journey to Ouarzazate. Upon arrival, you’ll have the chance to explore the Atlas cinema studios, discovering old props and learning about the movies filmed there.

Ouarzazate - We’ll stop at the renowned kasbah Taourirte, a UNESCO World Heritage site located in the heart of Ouarzazate city.

Vallee Des Roses - We’ll make several stops along the road through the Valley of Roses and visit a local cooperative that produces rose-based products. The Dades and Roses valleys are crucial for water and irrigation in the region and are known as the valleys of a thousand kasbahs. If you visit in May, you can enjoy the annual rose festival.

Dades Gorges - Our trip continues through the valley of a thousand kasbahs to reach the Dades Gorges, passing through Berber villages. Upon arrival, check into your hotel for an overnight stay in the Gorges.

Todra River - Enjoy a guided walking tour through the stunning Todra Valley with a local guide to explore the magnificent Todra Canyon.

Merzouga - Upon arrival in Merzouga, enjoy a welcoming mint tea before embarking on a camel caravan adventure. You’ll ride for an hour and a half across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach the desert camp at the foot of the Great Dune. During the camel trek, you’ll witness a breathtaking sunset over the sand dunes.

Dinner will be served at the camp, and you’ll spend the night under the spectacular starry sky of the desert.

Depending on your choice:
Standard camp: Shared tent with other guests
Luxury Desert Camp: Private tent in a luxury desert camp

Merzouga - Anti-Atlas - Ouarzazate - Tichka pass - Marrakech

Merzouga - Wake up early to witness the stunning sunrise over the golden dunes of Merzouga and ride camels back to the hotel to meet your driver.

Merzouga Desert - Rise early to admire the beautiful desert sunrise over the dunes, then return to the hotel by camel. After breakfast or a 4×4 ride, meet your driver/guide and begin a new journey towards Marrakech. 3 days on the desert - Beautiful experience. During the first day we visited ouzuzate 2 hours of visit, unique experience, then after lunch we headed to the hotel, with a stop in a breathtaking panorama. 8 are the bus hours but there are many stops. On the second day, we moved to another village with a fantastic Guide and immediately after lunch we headed into the desert after 3 hours by bus. Experience to be redone absolutely. Once we arrived in the desert we made the camel. The private tents are spotless and beautiful and in the evening entertain with the show. On the third day you have the option to return with the camel, or with the quod adding a difference. The sunrise over the desert is spectacular.

Excellent value for money - The Driver and Guide who accompanied us were wonderful. The trip that could scare because of the hours spent on the bus actually turns out to be an opportunity to observe with different eyes a world that will prove surprising. The short stops are significant because they introduce into the daily lives of persistent communities along the way from Marrakech to the desert. Once there, you will find the hospitality and cleanliness of a campsite that will surprise the organization. Excellent value for money.

And after a long way... you'll love the ending! - Experience that I would definitely recommend to do. It is certainly a special journey, with different views and scenarios from our daily lives. It opens your eyes a lot and makes you see things from a different point of view. I had a lot of fun, the camel ride was exciting although at first I was scared. The driver and helper very helpful and nice with the group. Along the various routes with the bus we sang and put Italian songs as well as joked together. The guides of the two excursions might be more explanatory about what to do and the descriptions of what you are visiting, but overall I give them a 7 1/2. While, to the overall tour, I give a good 9/10!

Detail - Desert tour well organized although along the journey and too small the bus for who we were but great for the quality price and what it offered. Having gone there in August I thought the tent was warm but unexpectedly there was air conditioning. Beautiful location, dinner and typical breakfast. Recommendation this unique and particular experience.
