Its ruins remained hidden from most of the world until 1812, when Swiss explorer JL Burckhardt, disguised as an Arab scholar, infiltrated the city. It is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Walk down the Siq, a long, winding sandstone canyon that leads to the stunning Treasury. Explore the city, including the Street of Facades, the Roman Theater, and the Royal Tombs. After your visit, depart Petra and head to the bridge to return to Jerusalem.

Tel Aviv - After breakfast, drive 4 hours back to King Hussain Bridge, where you’ll meet our driver on Allenby Bridge to return to Tel Aviv.
