Kigali - Welcome to Rwanda! Upon your arrival, your guide will be there to greet you and take you through the city to your hotel for an overnight stay, allowing you to get 7 hours of sleep.
Visit Volcanoes National Park
Volcanoes National Park Rwanda - How many hours on day 2? On this important day, you’ll be picked up at 4:30 am. The hotel will provide you with a well-packed breakfast. The drive to the park headquarters in the northern province will take approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a warm coffee at the cafeteria while your guide processes your documents. Shortly after, your guide will escort you to a briefing about the majestic mountain gorillas. Following the briefing and coffee, we’ll drive to the park entrance where you’ll embark on a hike and spend time with the gorillas in their natural habitat. After the trek, we’ll drive back to the North City for lunch at a local restaurant. Post-lunch, we’ll return to Kigali for a restful night at your hotel.
Back to Kigali and visit Genocide Memorial
Kigali Genocide Memorial - On the final day of your visit, you can wake up at your leisure and enjoy breakfast. At 10:00 am, your guide will pick you up for a city tour while you await your flight home. The tour begins with a visit to the Gisozi Genocide Memorial site, where you’ll gain insight into the country’s tragic history and have time to reflect on the memorial grounds. This visit will take about 2 hours. Next, you’ll head to a local market for souvenir shopping, including a brief stop at Question Coffee, a Rwandan women’s coffee association. Depending on the time, we’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we’ll return to the hotel to collect your bags and then proceed to the airport, marking the end of our tour.

Starting our morning after breakfast, then embark on unforgettable Journey where we will start with Genocide memorial, The Rwanda Genocide Memorial is a solemn and poignant testament to the tragic events that unfolded in 1994, Located in Kigali, it stands as a powerful tribute to the victims of the genocide, The Rwanda Genocide Memorial serves as a crucial educational site, ensuring that the atrocities are not forgotten .
We will spend around two hours there then after proceed to driving for around 2.5hours towards northern part of Rwanda. Additionally, we will make small stops, to the scenic viewpoints, providing breathtaking vistas of Rwanda’s landscape.
As we continue we will have time to stop and experience local dishes of Rwanda that leaves you with unforgettable taste of our local cuisine.
