Day 01: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay- anchor for overnight in Lan Ha Bay.

Halong Bay - -Approximately 08:00 – 08:30, our professional tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel (in the Old quarter area) for a 3-hour drive through the Red river Delta to Ha Long city, short break on the way.

-11:45 – 12h00 arrive at the wharf on Tuan Chau island

-13:00 Vega crew warmly welcome you on the boat and enjoy a welcome tropical drink under the sun in a pleasant atmosphere before room check in.

-13:30 enjoy fresh lunch on Vega luxury cruise ( We can cater vegetarian or vegan food on your request)

-Cruise on Ha Long bay, past beautiful rocky islands and clear blue sea and the spectacular seascapes of Ha Long bay in the unique route heading to Lan Ha bay for kayaking and swimming.

-Continue towards Lan Ha bay on the hidden route for different amazing sightseeing, pass by the Dark and Light cave, Frog lagoon, Ba Trai Dao beach, Stick islet, Buddhist statue stone….

Halong Bay - -Arrive in Lan Ha bay, the biosphere reserved area of the world for kayaking and swimming.

-On each 2- seat kayak, our tour guide will lead you through the narrow lanes of the karst mountains to fishing villages.

-Paddle under a Tunnel grotto a stunning lagoon (depending on the tide sometimes ). Here you can swim in the emerald waters or also reach some secluded beaches for a while relaxing lying on sand…

-Enjoy the sunset falling on the crystal bay, happy hour drinks, cooking class, dinner and overnight on the lovely peaceful bay once on your lifetime.

-Squid fishing is a good choice to those who love night tranquility.

Day 02: Trekking through the National Park of Cat Ba – Overnight on the Vega luxury cruise

Cat Ba National Park - -07.00 You can walk to the sun deck to experience a spectacular sunrise before having a buffet breakfast.
-09:00 Tender boat to Cat Ba Island, it will take you 40 minutes through Lan Ha bay pass by floating fishing villages of Cat Ba island then a car drive up to the central of the park for trekking.
-A moderate trek into the park up to Ngu Lam peak (the trek up and down takes 2,5-3 hours depending). At the summit you will obtain a universal view of Cat Ba Island – Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long bay. Triple scenes in your one Photo shot! that is amazing
-Trek down to visit Trung Trang cave and hospital cave, enjoy lunch in a local restaurant at 13h30.
-Walk on the on-cliff path for spectacular landscapes…from the beach Cat Co 1 to Cat Co 3.
-Dip to swim on Cat Co 3 beach for relaxing moments, afterwards boat back to the cruise, you can enjoy more kayaking or swimming from the cruise.
-Dinner on the boat desk, fishing at night is available, enjoy the second peaceful lovely night on the bay.

Day 03: Lan Ha bay– Ha Long bay - Ha Noi

Lan Ha Bay - -Enjoy breakfast with the dawn rising from the bay (Breakfast time: 6.30 am)
-07:00 Tender boat to Cat Ba island, Viet Hai dock for a bicycle trip to Viet Hai village.
-Ride a bike for 30 minutes on the shadowed paths, enjoying the landscape on the way to the village located in a beautiful valley of the National Park of Cat Ba.

  • Visit local house to get to know about the local people as well as their daily life of work or visit the island school…
    -Afterward cycling back and tender to return to the cruise.
    -Relaxing on board or swimming in the bay or breathing nature on the large sundeck chairs.
    -10:30 check out and start cruising on another route throughout thousands of limestone islands and islets, taking precious unique pictures meanwhile enjoying our buffet lunch.
    -12:00 arrive back at Ha Long dock, 12:10 disembark, say goodbye Ha Long bay and drive back to Hanoi
    Estimated to arrive in Hanoi between 15:00 – 15:30, we will drop you back to Vega office or to your hotel (old quarter)

Stunning, relaxing, and comfortable cruise - This two-night cruise was the highlight of my trip to Vietnam! Vega picked me up seamlessly in a very comfortable bus and brought the passengers to and from the cruise departure point. The ship was beautiful and very comfortable - I was surprised at how spacious my room was. The bed on the ship was the most comfortable bed I have slept on while traveling through southeast asia, plus it had two pillows per person. The dining room served us delicious and plentiful food with fresh fruit at every meal, plus the ship has a separate bar area and observation deck. We had plenty of time to swim each day of the cruise, otherwise the activity for the first day was kayaking and for the second day was visiting Cat Ba Island (where we hiked to a viewpoint, visited a cave, had lunch in a local restaurant, saw a traditional house, went on a bike ride, and tried the "fish foot massage"). I thought there was a good balance between activities and relaxation time. Our guide Quang Quack was so kind and funny - he made sure that everyone had what we needed to be comfortable and told us lots of interesting information about the bay and island. Plus he is a lot of fun! I highly recommend the two-night cruise instead of just one night so that you have more time to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the bay. Thank you Quang and Vega for an incredible trip!

Magical experience 😍 - Incredible experience with Vega Travel on the Uni Charm boat! Everything was great! We had an exceptional weather with a memorable sunset! The boat is clean and the food is good. The circuit avoids areas with many boats. Quang Quack (our Guide) was perfect, he adapted these 3 days according to our desires! Thank you very much!

Ha long bay cruise amazing - 3 magnificent days with our guide Hieu who was perfect. Incredible days full of emotions in the middle of an idyllic landscape. The boat and six very correct facilities, friendly and available staff, rich food and lively nights.

Cruise trip - I just finished my unforgettable Three-Day Trip in Halong Bay, and it was an unforgettable experience. The scenery was stunning, the tropical forest was a very new experience for me, and it was amazing the sensation when you heard all the sounds made by the animals, much louder than the mountains I used to go. The boat was comfortable, very clean. The food was delicious, and the crew was very nice. A special thanks to our guide, Hieu, whose knowledge and warm hospitality made the trip even more special. He ensured we had the best experience, from exploring the natural beauty to learning about local culture.This journey was the perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, having fun and making friends. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vietnam.

Great experience with a great guide! - Ha Long Bay itself is, of course, a sight to behold, but not only were me and my girlfriend able to enioy the views and landscape, we also had a great experience hiking, kayaking, swimming etc. with our tour guide Hieu. Taking 3 days and 2 nights was great as there were many activities but they did not feel so rushed, as im used to in other tours/cruises. We had plenty time to drink (the reasonably priced) cocktails and beers on the topdeck, and enjoy a night of karaoke. The views from the boat seem superior to shorter cruises or other ones, as we laid in areas where no other tourist boats were in view or around, which I loved. The food was also nice, at times extraordinary and mostly good. Hieu was a great guide for us, as he was very knowledgable and led us around in a very relaxed but paced way. He was very friendly, took plenty of photos for/with us, and even sang a song for the group on karaoke night. I normally shun group-dynamics, but on this cruise we met many nice people that we had a great time with, also in part because of an atmosphere Hieu created. All in all, I cannot recommend this itinerary with VegaTravel enough, as well as Hieu as a tour guide. But you may not get to pick ;)

Great cruise! - The cruise was lovely! The tour is super secluded and more often then not your surrounded by nothing but nature and fishershomes. It’s breathtaking to be waking up surrounded by this beautiful nature. The activities are really fun and active. At the end I felt so accomplished and looked back at three amazing days. The pic is one I took from the room! We took our tour with Hieu, who was funny and really enthusiastic! He made the whole experience better. P.s. don’t skip the karaoke night on the cruise!

Amazing experience - We had a perfect stay on the Vega Luxury boat. Nice and kind staff, delicious food but and Hieu has been an excellent guide. Super professional, fluid english speaking, cheerful and he did everything in order to let us do the maximum activities and capture the better spots. Kayaking with the sunset, trekking, cycling, karaoke, dancing, cooking class… everything just perfect! Thanks for everything :)
