Huangshan. Overnight at Mount Huangshan.
Mt. Huangshan - Begin your day with a journey to the base of Huangshan Mountain, where a cable car will take you up the front mountain. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the cable car.
Mt. Huangshan (Yellow Mountain), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is celebrated as China’s most beautiful and enchanting mountain. It is renowned for its “Four Wonders” – uniquely-shaped pine trees, stunning rock formations, a sea of clouds, and hot springs. Each view is distinct and exceptional. With each season, weather, location, and angle, Yellow Mountain offers different vistas, akin to ancient Chinese scroll paintings coming to life! Spending a night at the summit is a wise choice for witnessing spectacular sunsets and sunrises.
Shixin Peak - Upon arrival, first, enjoy the scenery of Beginning-to-Believe Peak, famous for its bizarre rocks and pines. As the name implies, you will truly start to believe in the mountain’s captivating beauty. The oddly-shaped rocks hanging on steep cliffs and the deep valleys create a charming natural painting.
Next, proceed to Peach Blossom Peak, known for its numerous peach trees. When the peach trees bloom in March or April, the peak transforms into a sea of peach blossoms, creating a heavenly wonderland.
Your next destination is Lion Peak, located west of Beginning-to-Believe Peak. The rock at the peak resembles a powerful lion crouching on the mountain, hence the name.
Continue your journey to the Flying Stone, a 39-feet-high, 8-meter-long, approximately 360-ton rock balanced on a small flat ledge. The narrow space between the two large rocks makes the erecting rock appear as if it flew from the heavens, thus named Flying Stone. It exemplifies Huangshan Mountain’s unparalleled natural beauty.
Guangmingding - The final site to explore today is the Bright Summit, one of the mountain’s highest peaks. From here, you can appreciate the stunning scenery of the East Sea Scenic Area, the mountain peaks in the West Sea Scenic Area, and the surrounding peculiar rocks.
Tonight, you will stay overnight at a hotel on the mountain (self-booked).

Xihai Grand Canyon, the most beautiful and deep scenic area of Huangshan Mountain, is a 9-mile-long U-shaped canyon. Besides the sea of clouds, it is also known for its abundant bizarre peaks and varied stones. After lunch, return to the mountain’s base by cable car.
Huangshan Railway Station - After lunch, you will be driven to Shanghai Hongqiao railway station, where a train to Huangshan city awaits you (G7312 16:25–19:05). The train journey takes approximately 3 hours.
