Pick up and Aswan Guided Day Tour (Meals: Lunch and Dinner)
Aswan - Begin your journey with a pick-up from your Aswan hotel or train station, followed by a transfer to your luxurious 5-star Nile Cruise for some relaxation and rest.
Aswan High Dam - Embark on your Aswan day tour with a visit to the High Dam, an engineering marvel constructed in the 1960s. From the top, enjoy panoramic views of Lake Nasser, the Kalabsha Temple to the south, and the massive power station to the north.
Unfinished Obelisk - Proceed to the Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan’s granite quarries, the source of much of the red granite used in ancient temples and statues. The obelisk remains where it was carved, abandoned due to a discovered crack. Your knowledgeable Egyptologist guide will explain the carving process and the reason for its abandonment.
Temple of Philae - The final stop of the three renowned Aswan sites is the Philae Temple, often considered the best. Relocated approximately 500 meters from its original site due to the High Dam’s construction, a short motorboat ride will take you to the island. Your guide will lead a walking tour through the temple, followed by free time for personal exploration.
Dedicated to the goddess Isis, Philae Temple boasts a picturesque setting on an island, landscaped to resemble its original location.
Aswan - Conclude your tour with a drop-off at your Nile cruise in Aswan.
Nile River Valley - After your tour, you’ll be returned to your Nile cruise in Aswan.
Cruise Sailing and Visiting Kom Ombo Temple (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)
Abu Simbel - Early morning tour to Abu Simbel. Enjoy exploring Abu Simbel, then return to your cruise in the afternoon to prepare for sailing.
Kom Ombo - The cruise will later stop at the Temple of Kom Ombo, where your friendly guide will lead the visit. The Nile Cruise will then continue sailing towards Edfu Temple. Overnight stay on the Nile Cruise (Private room).
Visiting Edfu Temple and Continue Sailing to Luxor (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)
Temple of Horus - Enjoy free time as the cruise sails along the Nile. Later, the cruise will stop at Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus with your friendly guide.
Luxor - The Nile Cruise will then continue sailing towards Luxor, arriving in the afternoon. Overnight stay on the Nile Cruise (Private room).
Visiting Luxor East & West Banks (Breakfast) + Drop Off
Valley of the Kings - Optional hot air balloon ride in the early morning. After breakfast and check-out, cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, home to 66 tombs from various dynasties.
Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and learn about Ancient Egypt’s only female ruler.
Colossi of Memnon - On the return journey, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic seated statues of Amenhotep III facing the Nile.
Temple of Karnak - Visit the Temple of Karnak, originally dedicated to the god Amun Ra, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. Over time, around 30 additional kings added their own touches to the complex. Spanning nearly 1 mile by 2 miles, the site includes over 20 temples, featuring some of the finest examples of ancient Egyptian design and architecture, such as the Hypostyle Hall and the Temple of Amun.
Luxor Temple - Conclude the day with a visit to Luxor Temple.
Luxor - At the end of your tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Luxor, the train station, or any preferred drop-off point in Luxor.
